~Hellooooo~ I'm back!!!! well lets continue!!!   ~

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Luna hung up and turned to face Hunter. He tried to take his phone back, but before he could Luna held it out of his reach, which was difficult considering he was taller than her.

"Alright Red, tell me what's going on. What is this Institute? What was that thing in the ally? How were you able to fight like that? Are you secretly a unicorn? Oh God, no. You better not be a unicorn." Luna rambled on.

Hunter reached over and easily got back his phone. "I'll explain everything later," he said. Then he gave Luna a strange look. "Unicorns?"

"They're EVIIIILLLL," Luna replied immediately, face serious.

Hunter stopped himself from smiling. "How?"

"They kill people with their horns! They try to act all innocent and cute, but it's all just a façade! You fall for their innocence and then one day when you turn your back BOOM! they get you," she said.

Hunter forced himself not to laugh. "Okay then," he said, not questioning her further.

Luna just nodded her head once sternly, like it was already a fact. "Good, but I'm hungry now," Luna said just as her stomach rumbled loudly.

"Wait. How are you up and about? I thought you were badly hurt," she asked Hunter, her eyebrows raised.

"Oh, well, um, that's another thing I'll explain later," he said, suddenly interested in his shoes. Luna's eyes turned a shade of grey(confusion). Hunter looked up again. He looked at Luna for a few seconds.

"What?" she finally asked.

"It amazes me, how your eyes change color. It's not normal," Hunter said as he continued to stare at her. Luna's eyes turned back to brown(normal) and blushed lightly looking away. They stood in silence for a minute.

When she turned back to face Hunter, she had a distant look on her face and her eyes were a shade of blue (sadness)."My mother used to always tell Adelle and I that we were different. Not normal. I never knew what she meant," she scoffed. "I still don't."

She expected to see a I-don't-really-care look on his face, but to her surprise, he had on a look of understanding. They continued to look at each other for a few more seconds then Luna cleared her throat. Her eyes brown again.

 "I'm huunnggrrryyy," Luna whined.

Hunter blinked. He was taken aback by her sudden mood change. "Uh, ok, lets go to the kitchen," Hunter suggested.

As soon as he said kitchen, Luna ran past him. Hunter shook his head. "Do you even know where your going?"

Luna stopped abruptly.

"Yeah....no."

Hunter chuckled. "Well then wait-"

"But I'm huuuunnnngggrrryyyy" Luna interrupts.

"Follow me, okay?" Hunter told her. Luna huffed but nodded. "Fine."

They made their way to the kitchen, passing many empty bedrooms along the way. "Uh, how many people live here exactly?" Luna asked.

"At the moment, about seven," he answered.

"Then why are there so many rooms?"

Hunter hesitated a moment. "We're kind of obligated to house any...friends if they wish to stay here," he said finally. It was strange the way he said 'friends', but Luna saved herself the trouble of getting more confused and decided not to ask. They walked the rest of the way in silence.

When they entered the kitchen, they were suddenly hit by the smell of someone's cooking. Then they saw Isabelle near the stove mixing something in a pot with a large spoon. Luna blinked. She saw Isabelle a few minutes ago in her room, talking with that guy, Alec. How did she get here so fast?

"Luna I'll be right back. I need to go get someone," Hunter said rather quickly.

"Ok," Luna said.

At the sound of voices, Isabelle turned her head toward the door. "Hey Luna," she greeted. "I made  some soup. Want some?" Isabelle asked.

"Yesss!!!!" Luna exclaimed and quickly jumped on a chair near the counter.  Isabelle gave her a bowl of soup as she smiled.  "Yummm. Thanks Isabelle," Luna said as she put a spoonfull of soup in her mouth.

"NO!" Hunter and two other boys yelled as they barged through the door. Too late, Luna spit out the 'soup' and started coughing. "Are you crazy Isabelle? She's finally back to health and you tried to poison her!" Hunter exclaimed as he ran to Luna.

"Hey! My soup is not poisonous!" Isabelle fired back. Luna manages to sputter out, "It may not only be the soup. It must be everything she cooks to make this so...um...distasteful." Luna chose her words carefully, not wanting to anger Isabelle. Hunter, Jace, and Alec laugh at her remark.

"In my defense, you said you were hungry, so I fed you. You should be grateful," Isabelle said.

"You fed me something as disgusting as muffins!" Luna yelled as her eye color changed to dark greenish-yellow(disgust). Everyone stared at her in confusion. Hunter was curious about how she would react if she saw a muffin. He apparently wasn't the only curious one. Jace reached for the muffin that was sitting on the counter. They both looked at each other and smiled evilly. Jace had the muffin in his hand and Hunter watched Luna intently. Alec and Isabelle could see that Jace and Hunter were up to something.

"Here you go. This is better than Isabelle's cooking," Jace said as he tossed the muffin to the Luna.

Luna caught it and said, "What the- ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!" Luna screamed as she threw the evil muffin on the floor.

"What's going on here?!" the girl with fiery red hair exclaimed as she walked in with another boy.

"When did you girls get here?" Jace asked calmly. The other guy rolled his eyes.

"We were looking for you guys when we heard a scream. What did you do to her?" The girl red hair asked, and pointedly looked at Jace and Hunter. Jace put his hand over his heart in mocking hurt. "How little faith you have in us, Clary," he said.

Clary smirked and raised an eyebrow.  "Don't give me a reason to really hurt you," she replied.

"Well, your certainly welcome to try," Jace said grinning at her. She grinned back.

"I just might."

"Okay, I'll stop you guys right there. No need to make this PG," the other guy said, looking between Jace and Clary.

Clary's cheeks turned red. "Shut up, Simon," she said.

"So why did you scream?" the other guy, Simon, asked Luna. Luna looked at Jace.

"So you did make her scream," Simon said.

"I simply gave her a blueberry muffin after she nearly died because of Isabelle's cooking," Jace shrugged.

"Hey!" Isabelle warned as she waved her spoon at them. They all immediately shut up.

"So why do you hate muffins?" Clary asked, bravely speaking first since Isabelle threatened them with a spoon.

"Muffins are evil," Luna replied simply.

"I thought unicorns were evil," Hunter pointed out. The others looked at him.

"They are. Unicorns and muffins are working together to destroy the world. Duh," Luna said like it was the most obvious thing in the world. They all stared at her in confusion and amusement.

"What?" she asked.
