Lucy's P.O.V

Creative Writing was my first class. I love writing and I absolutely enjoyed that class.

Class has already started when Mr. Darwin introduced a transferee.

Judging by how the new kid looked, it was pretty inevitable who he'd end up hanging out with.

He was about 5'11, orange hair, and built like an athlete. Yep. One of the popular kids.

Mr. Darwin proceeded to pair us off, and I ended up with the new guy, Loke Lion.

Next thig I knew, my partner was pulling a chair next to me.

"Hi! I'm Loke Lion." he said, smiling at me. I blinked.

"What's your name?" he asked.

"Lucy," I answered.

"Lucy," Loke repeated, lost in thought. He looked at me curiosly.

"Interesting name." he added. Was he complimenting me on my name?

Mr. D spoke up. "Settle down." he told us above the din. "Now that you're all paired up, you are to talk about your first day as a senior student with your partner."

Loke raised his hand up. Mr. D's eyes looked around the room. "Yes Mr. Lion?" he asked with a raised brow.

"I was just wondering, sir," Loke started. "How are we supposed to talk about our first day when it's barely started?"

Mr. D looked like he expected the question all along. "Good point." he said.

"Well, then. Talk about what happened to your day so far. At the end of the day, write it down. It will be your assignment, due tomorrow."

The class groaned in unison. "How's your day, Lucy?" he asked me innocently.

I wanted to answer him with, Oh my first day? It was freaking great. As usual, they regrouped into their own cliques as soon as they set foot inside school. I stood there like an idiot with no one. No big deal.

Unfortunately, I couldn't tell him that. I caught sight of Levy, looking at me meaningfully.

She was eyeing Loke. I scowled at her and turned my attention to my partner.

"Um, nothing new." I answered him sheepishly. I was still skeptical about it, he was nice since he did his part without being a jerk.

"Wow," said Loke, in mock suprise. "Sounds exciting." he immediately added.

"Just Kidding. Anyway, school just started. New things happen unexpectedly. We can't do anything but be suprised."

What he said was insightful and kind of made sense. Maybe he's not so bad, after all.

I glanced at him from the corner of my eye. He didn't look all that bad up close.

He has brown-orange eyes that look brown from afar. I turned my eyes to the blank piece paper that was on my desk.

It's funny how this always happen- I start thinking about how cute a guy is, but my thoughts always revert to Natsu.

As I was thinking about how good-looking Loke is, Natsu's face popped in my head.

I started picture his onyx eyes, playful smile, his pink hair that seems softly tousled (but spiky).

The bell rang, pulling me back to reality.

This morning is so surreal. I'm the nerd no one talks to-with the exception of Natsu and Levy, of course.

Next thing I knew, a cute guy just struck up a conversation with me. Now, I'm distracted.
