Lucy's P.O.V

During Calculus, Levy kept asking me many questions on how to answer, this and that, she even said that Loke's interested in me.

French, on the other hand, was surprising. I didn't actually know that Loke was fluent in French.

At Lunch, Levy and I were at the garden since someone took our usual table.

Levy pouted, "What's wrong?" I asked.

She looked at me, "They're serving ice cream sandwhiches today, sadly, there's no place to eat it."

"I thought you don't like Ice cream sandwich?" I asked her, raising a brow.

"I do! *munch* Igropegtheygareggoinggtogservegicegcreamgsandwhichgtomorrowg."

"Come again?"

Levy cleared her throat then said, "I said; I hope they're going to serve Ice cream sandwhiches tomorrow."

She kept talking and talking.

I looked around. Hoping I could find any vacant seats to eat our lunch, but instead of finding seats, I found Lissana, giggling.

'Wait till I splash all of you with a tub of cold water, just to wake you all up from your evil ways'

Something caught my eye. Natsu and his gang were walking toward us with their trays on their hands, except for Natsu.

"Hey Luce." He greeted me, one arm on my shoulders. I can feel my legs getting wobbly.

"Hey your face." I slapped his arm away. He pouted. I rolled my eyes.

"Stop it."

"Come on, I just wanted to ask you if you and Levy wanted to sit with us."

Me sitting with Lissana and her minions?! No way.

"Not with Lissana. Her table is already crowded with her friends." Gajeel explained. Whewww~ Thank you!

We were already settled at Natsu's table. Levy excused herself to buy more ice cream sandwiches.

I eyes Natsu suspiciously. I tried not to look around because I am hundred percent sure that many students were watching out table. Me sitting with three of the best and most popular basketball player is news to them.

I caught sight of Levy walking with Loke following, and she sat beside me. Loke at her side.

The astmosphere turned really awkward.

"Hi." greeted Loke, smiling to Natsu and his friends. They exchange looks and ignored his greeting. Natsu grabbed his soda and took a sip, still ignoring Loke. How rude! They could've at least acknowledge him!

"Lucy?" Whispered Levy. "Maybe you should introduce him."

I looked at her. "Why me? Why don't you do it?"

"I would, but I'm not the best friend." she smiled.

I hastily looked at Natsu. "N," I said. He turned to me, also his friends.

"Um. Guys, I would like to introduce you to Loke." I gestured my hand towards Loke's direction.

I continued. "He's the new member in Theater Club."

"So I've heard." Said Natsu, flatly. He nodded to Loke in greeting.

"Loke." I said, turning my attention back to him. "This is Natsu. My father-like bestfriend."

"Yes, I heard." he smiled at Natsu. They continued to stare to each other, as if challenging each other.

"Why didn't you try out for basketball team?" Asked Sting, breaking their never ending stare contest.

"I don't like basketball." Thay caught all of our attention.

"What?" Sting asked in astonishment.

"I think it's pointless to run around chasing the same ball." Explained Loke.

"Not to alot of people." neutrally said Natsu, but I can still sense a bit of irritation in his voice.

"Olympics were created to measure a man's excellence. Basketball tests one's stamina, strength, and balance. The ability to do it and be good at it measures man a man's excellence." There goes mister smarty pants.

"Can you only measure a man's excellence through sports?" asked Loke.

"I'm not saying that." answered Natsu quickly.

Their voices were calm yet I could feel the tension between them.

"Oh, I just realize. 10 minutes before the bell rings." said Levy.

"Really? I need to get my things in the locker." and soon the eerie silence return.

I was about to clean my mess when, "Are we still on this Friday night?" Loke asked me.

"Yes of course." I answered automatically like my whole life depends on it.

"Oopss." said Sting loudly. He accidentally spilled his drink on Loke's shirt.

"Sorry about that man." Sting really didn't sound like he was really sorry at all.

Loke look at his shirt, which is now covered with the soda stain. He shook his head. "No. It's okay." he said while pulling his handkerchief from his pocket.

"I better wash it though." he glanced at me.

"Sure."

"I'll just buy another soda." Sting told Natsu. "I'll come too." Levy and Gajeel followed.

Great. Just Great. Natsu and I were left alone on the table. I avoided his gaze.

"So you have a date this friday night?"

I looked up at him. "It's not a date." I said defensively. "It's just a movie night at my house. Besides, Levy's with us."

"So if it's not a date then-" he stopped and think for a minute. "then I'll come with you."

"Sorry. It's for club members only."

"Are you three the only club members?" He asked.

"No. It is not allowed, dad?" I raised an eyebrow.

"The party's on saturday and since I am your dad. I must supervise you." he said with the most irritating smile.

Sting, Gajeel, and Levy came back.

He knows it. I know it. He won.

"So," he breathed out. "See you on friday night." he said while wiggling his eyebrows then left. Him leading the way.

"He's coming?" asked Levy, shocked.

"Unfortunately. Yes."
