ALANA
Everyone that was in the meet and greet were allowed to go in a little bit early and confirm their places right at the front. This saved me and Frankie the effort of dodging through crowds of screaming girls to get to the barrier.
We did manage to get to the barrier, but it was a little bit of a push. Security guards were shouting at us, telling us that we would have to wait outside with everyone else if we didn't calm down. Frankie rolled her eyes and grabbed my arm, running to the barrier. We managed to squeeze in and got ourselves ready for the show.
All the support acts were amazing. To be honest, though, I wasn't really paying much attention, I was just awaiting You Me At Six to walk on. When they did, Frankie didn't hesitate to scream at Max. Again.
'Max! Do you remember me?' I
I fail to understand why he wouldn't remember her. He looked at her with genuine fear in his eyes. He looked over to me and I shot him an apologetic look. He just turned around and jumped off, the way he does. I looked at her and she gave me a confused look.
'What?'
'You scared him away, Frankie.'
'No, he'll be back, just you wait.'
He didn't. He purposely found a new route around the stage to get away from her.
DAN
I could hear that monstrous girl again. The one that attacked Max. I was all the way at the back of the stage, the crowd was packed full of screaming girls, yet over all the noise, her voice was the voice I noticed.
But, if she's there, that must mean her friend is there too. Alana, that was her name. I was determined not to let all my concentration land on her again. I don't really fancy messing everything up for everyone in front of 4,000 people.
Though, I couldn't help scanning the audience for her. She was right at the front, over at the left. Her mental friend was trying to get Max to move closer to her. I felt sorry for her. Alana that is. Having to put up with THAT all the time. Must be a nightmare.
As we finished the first song, I was getting a bit hot, so I took off my shirt. I heard people enjoy that. I can't blame them, they're only human.
ALANA
'Look, Lana, Dan is stripping!'
Of course, it was my natural reaction to look over. He had only taken his shirt off. Not like I was complaining, but by the way she was talking, he was about to give us all a strip tease or something.
They carried on through a couple more songs, and then they decided to slow it down with No One Does It Better. Dan came down from his little podium and sat at the drum kit down the bottom.
DAN
I was closer to her already.
Daniel, why are you so obsessed with her?
I talked to her for 5 minutes, yet I feel like I have known her for an eternity.
When I came down, and Josh started singing, I immediately started staring at her. I nearly missed my cue. But I wanted her to notice that I was looking at her. I don't know if she did.
'You are playing the lead,
The headache that my actions feed,
Oh I've only got myself to blame.'
He kept singing, and she kept looking over, but I couldn't tell if she noticed or not. Through the whole song I stared at her, yet she didn't seem to notice. It seemed to me that if the maniac she was with didn't tell her something, she would refuse to believe it.
It was so frustrating.
We ended up finishing the song, and ending the set. Still, no acknowledgement from Alana.
There was only one more option. It was bold, but It would have to do.
If this didn't catch her attention, I don't know what will.
