Chapter 4 - We Meet Again

James POV

I sighed

Damn....... I am gonna enter the portal. Damn..... What's gonna happen? Hope I make it out alive. Hope we were succesful. Hope......

I was dead scared. Mukund took hid seat and I took a step towards the portal. I closed my eyes and then I stepped inside the portal. I opened my eyes and turned around to see if the portal was closed​ and no it wasn't. Great we were succesful I think.

"Ah...... James can you hear​ me?" I heard Mukund from the earpiece.

"Yeah" I said.

"Hah thats great....."

"I think you should close the portal."

"Yep wait a second."

He closed the portal and now I was all alone in the blue environment that looked like eternity to me. The blue environment had no end.

"Can you hear me James?"

"Yeah"

"That's great. Which game you want me to choose?"

"Any one."

"Any one? Okay"

Then after a moment the blue environment moved slowly and gained speed in a moment. Even the floor moved and then I was in air. The blue environment changed to the white one and I was falling

"Whaaaatttt thhhe........" I screamed loke hell.

"What's happening?" I heard Mukund from the earpiece, of course.

"I aaammm faaalllinng"

"Oh.......well you're entering the game. Its just the loading screen. Things dive into the gaming world, remember? That's what you told me. It is just a leap of faith."

I saw a blip, a dark spot darkening, increasing in size. When I came near I realised that is wasn't a spot. It was a city a big freaking city and I was falling, soon I entered a virtual reality. It was night or it looked like as of this game haven't seen daylight since centuries.

Before crasimg on the roof. I hovered above the roof, I then landed on my feet. I loked around.

"You've dived into the game James. I've got your location I......."

"YOU HAD TO CHOOSE THIS GAME?"

"You said any game. I literally closed my eyes and clicked on a game."

"Oh okay...... I'll...... I'll...... Where's Emma? You got her location?"

"Ah.......wait......... Yep she is being chased and heading towards you. So I think you should get ready."

"Oh damn. What do I need now......okay hydro sword."

And I raised my left hand to the height of my chest and threw it backwards and a blue sword was formed in my left hand. Damn. We were successful.

"Oookay...... now a hydro sword."

I did the same thing with the right hand. Another sword. A red one.....well my left hand felt wet and cold whereas my right hand felt hot.

"Hey Mukund......we were succesful..... I now have Emma's powers. I mean the powers she has in the game.

"Really!? Damn!..... I mean that's awesome brother."

Where I was standing. It was not actually a roof. It was a tall building. All the buildings in this game are tall as it is a futuristic game.

I saw a figure, a girl who jumped from the roof above me. She landed on her feet and rolled because of her momentum and she again fell off from the ledge of the roof I was standing on.
