Two days later, they'd found out about Cassie's grandmother. All had been sympathetic. But on the day of her wake some didn't want to show. Izaak was sitting with Diana in her kitchen when Mr Meade aka Charles walked out and frowned when he saw Adam's brother Izaak sitting on the island stools as Diana was getting ready for the wake. "Hi Izaak, how are you?" Charles asked softly and Izaak glanced up with a small smile.
"Pretty good, it wasn't my grandmother that died so I guess I'm good. How are you Mr Meade?" Izaak asked politely and Charles smiled at the young boy.
"Call me Charles, or Chuckie like you used to. And I've been as good as I can be." Charles whispered.
"I think it's too sad a day to call you Chuckie but thanks." Izaak shared looking down briefly as his phone went off. Charles watched as the young boys face lit up for a second before he turned it off quickly.
"About Diana, you'll treat her right. I don't want you dating my daughter if you don't treat her right or if you want to be with someone else." Charles demanded in a soft voice. Izaak dipped his head in nodding.
"I get it. Trust me, your daughter; she's the only person I want to be with. She's perfect. I just hope I'm the guy she wants to be with. But if she does choose someone else, someone better than me, I'll understand." Izaak shared with Charles who looked at the young man shocked. Izaak and Adam were very different people. Izaak didn't think he was worth it. Didn't think he was worth loving. Charles had known this ever since Izaak was 10. But it just occurred to him how troubled the young boy really was.

"Well in that case I trust you with Diana." Charles smiled at Izaak as Diana walked in and smiled giving her dad a hug before kissing Izaak softly.
"We all ready?" Diana asked and Izaak nodded driving the two to the wake. Once he got there Izaak walked up to Cassie with a sad smile.
"How you doing shorty? Need a hug yet?" Izaak asked and Cassie smiled pathetically at him before she opened her arms and Izaak grinned letting his arms envelope Cassie. Estelle just walked in with Dawn and Faye frowning at the scene.
"You know I'm almost sad. Jane was nice." Estelle commented as Faye let out a low chuckle.
"At least there is food." Faye shrugged.
"Sounds good, I'll have to check you later I'm hungry." Estelle shared brushing past Faye and into the kitchen for food. Estelle smiled looking up to see Izaak who reached out taking some food. Diana walked up to Izaak giving him a quick kiss.
"I'll see you later." Diana smiled and then turned to Estelle who nodded to her. "Hi Estelle."
"Hey, I heard you might be the spawn of Satan. Never thought we'd have that in common." Estelle lightened the mood and Diana chuckled throwing her arms around Estelle.
"I'll see you later. I just I can't stay here." Diana rushed out of the house and Estelle looked at Izaak confused.
"Cassie and all. She just really doesn't want to be around this." Izaak gestured to everything.
