Chapter 6: "He's not Nick. He'd a demon"

When they got there they saw Melissa passed out. Izaak had just knocked her out. "I guess it's possible the demon got out of Heather and went into Melissa." Diana commented as Nick was sitting near Melissa looking at her worriedly.

"So what's in the suitcase?" Adam asked.

"Well I'm guessing it's not a book of shadows." Cassie snarked getting up from where she was.

"Oh really? Never would have guessed without that genius comment. Maybe it's other demons? You know demons group together for power. It's in a few horror movies." Estelle suggested shrugging.

"Now is not a time to take advice from whatever freaky thing you watch on date night." Faye sassed. Melissa then started screaming and trashing around everyone ran to push her down despite the protests. Melissa then started seizing.

"What just happened?" Nick asked panicked.

"Melissa?" Nick asked with concern.

"Nick" Melissa said breathlessly. "Ow my head, what happened?" She asked looking a mess. Faye and Estelle exchanged glances. "What's going on? Why are you all staring at me like that?" She asked again.

"Are you okay?" Faye asked.

"I can't feel my hands these things are cutting into me." Melissa complained. Estelle held sympathy in her eyes but wasn't convinced.

"Let me get these things off." Nick said starting.

"Don't it's not her." Cassie said being the bad guy in this. Estelle was glad she didn't have to be.

"Of course it is." Nick argued.

"Or she's faking." Adam said and Estelle turned away from a second. Izaak then held her shoulder softly.

"Look please don't listen to them I'm in pain." Melissa cried and looked between Nick and her tied wrists. Nick leaned in for a while then breathed out and walked away. Melissa then got very angry. "You worthless loser!" She started throwing herself around. Estelle then walked after Nick and looked at him with pity in her eyes. She pulled him close to her hugging him tightly.

"Look if you need anything just tell me." Estelle offered sitting with him.

"I just need her to be okay. I don't want her to get hurt. She doesn't deserve that." Nick shared running his hands over his face.

"I know. Neither do you. You deserve better Nick. You shouldn't have to go through this." Estelle commented sitting down with him holding him close. She caught Izaak's gaze. He looked at her with pursed lips nodding to her. They then stood up all standing around the box.

"Was that a hiss?" Faye asked with furrowed brows. Melissa then cleared her throat next to Estelle. They all jumped over and Nick shoved Estelle out of the way as Melissa lunged forward and she caught Nick shoving him against a call and held a knife to his throat. Estelle was helped up by Izaak and they all looked to Nick completely still as a lump caught in Estelle's throat.

"Do as I say or I will cut his throat." Melissa yelled furiously. Estelle then went to run to him but Izaak held her by the waist and pulled her back.

"Okay, we will do whatever you want." Izaak tells her desperately. He never liked Nick much since even though Estelle's best friend and now possible boyfriend, Nick always seemed to find his way into Estelle's bed when they had a fight. She then started to slice his neck and Estelle screamed as tears formed in the corner of her eyes. Izaak kept a tight grip on Estelle as Nick looked at her pleadingly.

"Come on there are five of us." Faye stated wanting to fight.

"She doesn't mess around." Adam argued.
