Estelle had decided to tiredly sit down holding her head. "Did you ever plan on killing Eben?" Cassie demanded to know. "You just needed Eben to scare us into finding the crystals."

"Witch hunters have always been the best way to galvanise witches" Blackwell commented.

"You did it 16 years ago." Cassie spat.

"What can you say Cassie? Evil people do manipulative things." Estelle whispered but it had become a mantra for every time something bad happened Estelle noticed.

"Why manipulate our parents into having children just to send them off to be killed?" Diana demanded to know.

"Abandonment issues?" Estelle chimed in. "He wanted us to be desperate for someone to love, for someone to show us the right and wrong way. He wanted us to be broken beyond repair." Estelle whispered trying to contain her melancholy.

"My mother figured it out, she and Ethan tried to get the others not to go." Cassie pointed out.

"But your mother just like you was the one who said we could trust him to begin with. So I believe this still falls on the Blake's." Estelle bitterly commented.

"It gave me a good opportunity to disappear, wait for when you were ready and you are." Blackwell shared. "And Estelle is right. The blame is partly your families for their parents deaths." Blackwell then began chanting something the sign showed up through the floor and Estelle stood up quickly alarmed and she noticed the crystal turning black.

"What are you doing?" Estelle demanded to know.

"If it's not for killing the witch hunters then tell us." Cassie called out.

"I'm using it to kill witches," He answered and Estelle felt her heart swell up. "Every single one without Balcoin blood." Blackwell laughed out and Estelle glanced around wide eyed.

"No" Estelle shoved her hand across her mouth as the tears welled up in her eyes knowing that her mother and Faye were witches without Balcoin blood. Estelle pushed back a wail as she tried to tell herself that Faye would survive she had to.

"He could be bluffing, how can you kill witches?" Cassie demanded to know.

"Because they're weak, and their weakness has kept us victims for 2000 years. The time has finally come for a cleansing. Let's scorch the earth, burn humanity." Blackwell almost celebrated.

"And what? Become a bunch of inbred sociopaths?" Estelle snarled at him.

"You know it's such a shame you are a Balcoin. But you are a dark and violent girl." Blackwell pointed out with a chuckle. "Let's clear the way for the other Balcoin children. Five more born in other towns raised in other circles. And they came here to join you."

"Jake's grandfather was right you want to build a circle of Balcoin witches." Diana called out horrified at the truth.

"That's wrong." Estelle spat.
