LAURENS POV

today is the first day of fourth grade im so excited to see my friends from third grade. It feels like fourth grade will be a whole new me!
Baz is in my class too. My crush <3 aahhhh I haven't seen him in soooooo long! It'll be nice to see him again!

ALEXS POV

I'm in Lauren's class! I feel like we're still friends.

Roi: Go ask her out dude!

Alex: I can't!

Roi: why!??

Alex: what if she says no?? Our friendship is ruined!

Roi: what you need is a chain!

Alex: a chain?

Roi: a chain of friends dummy!

Alex: how does that work?

Roi: when you want to get information out of her so you can't just do it directly of your too nervous.

Roi: so what you Gotta do is tell someone to tell the other person to tell the other other person who is closer to the person you want to tell originally if they like you!

Alex: so I tell Karina to tell Bethany to tell Mia to ask Lauren if she likes me?

Roi: yeah! Just don't say you like her back or else that statement will get to her too.

Alex: got it. Thanks bro!

I went over to Karina.
I whispered in her ear, ask Bethany to tell Mia to ask Lauren if she likes me!!

Karina understood so she went to Bethany, and she went to Mia, and Lauren whispered in Mia's ear and the train came back to me.

Karina: she said no and she likes baz.

My heart slowly sank.

Roi: it's ok buddy. You'll get the next one.

I looked at him weirdly and walked towards Lauren.

Lauren: oh hi Alex!

Alex: sup!

Lauren: hey can I ask you something?

Alex: sure anything!

Lauren: thanks um, can you ask Brayden to ask Tyler to ask baz if he likes me? Just don't say I like him though.

Alex: uh ok!

Crap.

Well I continued the train and I got the message back.

Brayden: yes, he does like Lauren

O. M. G.

Well, I told Lauren the good news and she flipped out!

Lauren: thanks Alex for doing that!!

She hugged me tight and when to baz

Lauren: hi baz.

Baz: uh, sorry not now!!

I saw baz run toward Tyler and Lauren came back to me.

Lauren: you lied!!!!!! He doesn't like me!!!!!

Alex: he does I swear! He was probably nervous.

Lauren: oh yeah! He was so nervous on our field trip that he threw up!

Lauren: sorry for calling you a liar..

Alex: it's ok.
