Chapter 3: The Secret Rose

After that scary, little talk with Mrs. Leonard, I walked over to Rosie to tell her about me guiding her around and all those stuff. It wasn't really hard getting Rosie to agree on it. After all, she's shy as a turtle. 

"So how was your first class of the day?" I broke the silence. 

"It was nice," She looked down. Man, I can barely hear her voice. "I was very nervous though." Isn't the obvious enough, rose girl? I'm not trying to be mean, uh-uh. Not at all. But I'd appreciate if she would speak up more. Once again, the silence befell us.

"What's your name? If you don't mind me asking.." 

"Rhea," I cut her off, "Rhea Yokune." To be nice, I turned to her and smiled but instead of giving me a smile back, her eyes were wide as if I told her the most scariest horror story. "Really?!" She cried. Everyone was looking at us, with all shocked expressions. Don't blame me on this! "Y..Yeah? Have you heard of someone in my family?" 

"Oh yes I have! I loved your parents. Ruko and ROOK is it? Yeah, I totally I enjoyed them both," She grinned. I now see that rose girl here is not a turtle anymore. 

I can't believe my parents for this. How dare them not tell about this new girl in my class long time ago? Seriously? I'm almost 16 and I still haven't heard them talk about this. Not even one keyword at least! I better ask them about this, right after I walked in our door. 

We finally reached the math class door, which was still wide open. "Well, here's where your math class will be. If you need any help you can ask the---" 

"Can I please come over to your house after school?" She looked up at me with those bright white eyes. 

"Um, after school? You mean like, today?" I asked, making sure I heard her right. I wouldn't be so surprised but, this is just too sudden.

"Yes. I'd like to see your parents once again," Rosie smiled. 

Once again? Then that means she's...!

"Sure."
