Now that I've learned my family's past, I actually feel sad for them. I don't know why, though. Now today's a new day, and it better not be weird. I woke up early in the morning to get ready for school. I went to the bathroom and washed up.
Then, I went back to my bedroom and readied myself. Of course, the regular uniform: dark blue formal jacket over a white long-sleeved blouse. For the bottoms, dark blue skirt partnering the top.
"Finally," I muttered under my breath. I looked at the clock. '7:45 AM' it said.
I knew by this time breakfast must be already served. I was right. When I got to the dining room I saw Runo, and my mom and dad, Ruko and ROOK.
"Good morning," they all said in unison. "Morning," I sang. "What's the breakfast today, mom?" I went over to mommy.
She smiled. Darn it! I know that smile.. "Pumpkin Waffles, dear." Mommy said. The regular breakfast. After my mom cooked breakfast, we all sat down around the dining table, then dove right in.
...
"Man!" My brother Runo exclaimed. "That was good!" I rolled my eyes at him. You always say that, anyway. I thought mentally. He suddenly looks at me all serious. Uh oh.
He spoke, "Who was that girl that came to our house last night?" Whew, I thought. Good thing he doesn't know her either. "Oh, her? That was just the new girl from school," I gulped. Please don't think I'm lying..
"Alright then." Runo said. "There's another new kid today too,"
"Seriously?"
"Yep."
"Who is it?"
"Go find it out yourself," He said.
