Chapter 5: The Remaining Past

Rosie and I went to my house after she told me the past. "I'm home!" I opened the door and saw my brother Runo playing his game, again. "Welcome back, Rhea," he said, not removing his eye contact with the screen. Rosie stepped in and looked around. I bet she's wondering where my parents are. 

"They're upstairs," I whispered to Rosie. She nodded and took off her shoes. "You can put your stuff in those shelves right there." I pointed towards the shelf. "Okay," Rosie replied. 

After we readied ourselves, we headed upstairs to my parents. I wonder if they'll remember her, I thought. I knocked on their bedroom door and waited for an answer.

A soft "come in," is what I heard. I was about to open the door but Rosie stopped me. She nodded towards me. I nodded back. Carefully, Rosie opened the door.

"Rhea? Do you need something, dear?" My mom called. 

I grabbed Rosie's wrist and entered their room. "Mom, dad, this is Rosie. She was new in the school. Also, She wanted to see you again." Rosie smiled towards them. She's such a cheerful rose, isn't she?

Rosie walked to my mom and hugged her. "I missed you so much, aunt Ruko!" 

My mom teared up and is about to cry. It's like they hadn't seen each other for years! Which, I doubt. 

"Rosie.." my mom Ruko whispered. 

"It's so wonderful to see you again,"
