Chapter 8: A New Friend⚘

Yugi Pov:

" Alright, Lapras this is far enough" I said and Lapras stopped in the middle of the ocean. I grabbed my fishing rod and cast it out into the ocean. I watch the wave move the water. I hear a big splash hit the water. I turn around to find no Yami. I felt my line bounce up and down..

"Hey, Pikachu And Eevee I got something!" I yelled and began to reel it in. A grinning Yami was at the end of it. I puffed my cheeks annoyingly then I let out a huff and soften my facial expression as he smile at me. Yami dive under the ocean and pop up on the other side of Lapras.  I felt huge tug on my line and stood up on Lapras shell.

"This is huge!" I said as I began to reel and pull the line. The water started to rise and big shadow form over top of Lapras. My eyes shot up as the water began to clear a long, serpentine Pokémon with sky blue scales and a white underside. Its violet eyes are dark and glossy. It has a smooth, rounded snout and a small, white horn on its forehead. Its head is flanked by two small, stylized wings, which are white and curve into a swirl at the base. Three blue, crystal orbs, one on its neck and two on its tail, adorn its body.. it tail angrily splashed the water. It let out a loud screech.  I dropped my fishing rod. Yami eyes narrowed at the Pokemon and growl lowly as it eyed Yugi..

" Ready, Pikachu" I said as I eyed the water dragon.

"Pikachu!" Pikachu yelled as it got into it battle stance.

" Alright, Pikachu, use thunderbolt on it" Pikachu jumped into the air and used thunderbolt on the water dragon. The dragon type pokemon yelled out in pain but shook it off. Anger flashed in it eyes and tail slam down onto the water cause huge wave to form.

"Oh no!" I yelled as I watch the wave come. I shut my eyes and covered my head.

Yami looked at Yugi then stared at the wave. His protective instant kicked in and he closed his eyes. A bright blue light began to surround his form. His body started to change form.

"MMMM!" Lapras yelled as it used ice beam freezing the wave.

Yami transformation complete. He flew up into the air towards the frozen wave. His mouth open forming a dark ball. He shot it at the wave. The dragon pulse hit the ice wave and shattered it into pieces. Yami tackled the water pokemon hard in the side causing it to let out a painful screech as it fell into the water causing a huge splash as it hit the water.  Yami looked at Pikachu and Eevee and nodded his head. Pikachu uses thunderbolt and Eevee shot a shadow ball while Yami used dragon pulse. Their attacked combined as they deliver the final  blow. The fog of smoke cleared over the water beast. It floated to the stop as it laid their knocked out.

Yami dive back into the water and hid under Lapras transforming back into his human form. Pikachu tapped Yugi on the shoulder. I uncover my eyes to find a knocked out pokemon.

"PIKA!" Pikachu yelled at me. I nodded my head then face the Pokemon. I grab a Pokeball from my belt and held it up.

"Alright! Pokeball gooo" I yelled and threw the Pokeball at the water type Dragon pokemon. It went into the Pokeball. The Pokebal started wiggling side to side as it flashed red. I stared at the Pokeball as it kept flashing then it stopped. My eyes widen and Lapras swam over to the Pokeball then I grab it and smile to myself.

"Yay, I caught a new Pokemon!" I yelled as I held the ball up.

"Piiii-Pika-chu" "Eee- eevee" Pikachu and Eevee said happily.

Yami popped up from under the water and pushed himself up on top of Lapras shell next to Yugi

" Yami, I caught a new pokemon!" I yelled as I turn to him and hugged him tightly, surprising him. Yami face blushed and smiled as he hugged me back. I smiled at him then kissed him causing him to fall back on his back on Lapras shell. Yami happily kissed me back. I pulled away and smiled as I lay my head on his chest. I looked at my new pokemon in happiness as I held up the Pokeball. Yami tighten his grip around me as he held me.

Lapras started swimming back to the dock and Yami stroke my hair as Lapras swimmed over the water. The sun had already set when Lapras arrived at the dock. Yami and I got up from our position then hop off of Lapras onto the dock. Pikachu and Eevee jump onto the dock while I pulled out Lapras Pokeball..

"Thanks for all your help Lapras. You deserve a good rest, return

"Mmm!" Lapras said it went into her Pokeball.  I smiled at the Pokeball then hook it onto my belt. Eevee hop into my backpack and I thrown my backpack over my shoulder while Pikachu jump on my head. I turn to the smiling Yami. I smiled and grab his hand. Yami lean into me and gave me a gentle kiss and I happily kissed back. Yami and I began on our walk back to home.

" Oh, Yami. You make me so happy. I'm so gald I met you when I did. Your the best thing that ever happen to me" I said as I smiled at him. Yami looked at me with surprise face and blushed form along his cheek and a smile across his lips "Oh Yugi. You don't know how much that mean to me. I love you so much, Yugi" Yami thought to himself.

Me and Yami got home, we both went straight to to bed to began a brand new day.
