Chapter 23: Poor Yami

~Yami Pov~

I was sitting on the ground, with my arms folded and a pout on my face. Everyone had all their Pokemon out of there Pokeballs. The pokemon were enjoying the berries from the freshly green trees by the river. I deeply sigh as I watch Yugi and Atem as they talk to each other. Yugi was laughing at Atem joke he had made. I bite into one of the Oran-berry aggressively and turn my head away from the two towards the Pokemon. Atem's Raichu was cuddle up by Yugi Pikachu offering Pikachu an Oran-berry. I smiled at the cute Pokemon then I thought back to Yugi and frown. Yugi wasn't paying me no attention at all.

" Oh that Atem" I growled and bit into my Oran-berry.

"Pikaa-Pi-Pika-chu" Pikachu said {Translation: What wrong,Yami}. Pikachu run over to my side sat down and tilted his head cutely. I deeply sigh and looked over to Yugi and bit into my Oran-berry sadly.

" Yugi not even paying me any attention since that Atem been with us" I said sadly. I felt something hop into my lap and Pikachu looked up at me with it big blue eyes.

"Pika-pika" Translation: It's okay Yami, I'll keep you company. I smiled down at Pikachu, use my free hand to pet the middle of his head and while I ate my Oran-berry.

"Haha so your on your way Vermilion city" Atem said as he smile at Yugi.

"Yeah, I'm going to go get my thunder badge" Yugi said as he ate a berry soup that Brock made.

"That where I was heading too. Maybe we can go together...You know to cheer you on" Atem said as he place his hand on top of Yugi. I growl and narrowed my eyes. I try to get up but Pikachu was holding me back.

"Let me go, damn Pikachu, let me go" I said as I struggle to get pass Pikachu as he push me back down on the ground.

"Pikaa-piiii" Pikachu said as it struggle to push me. I growl then huff and plopped back down on the ground and bit into my oran-berry again.

"Sure, the more the merrier. Thanks for the support" Yugi said happily. Atem smiled and nodded his head then when Yugi went to bite spoon full of soup. Atem looked over at me and smirked then when Yugi looked back him. He was smiling happily.

"Grrr, Yugi is mine and I don't like to share" I said as I grabbed Pikachu by the ears and toss him aside then got up to my feet and stomped over to the happy group. Yugi looked up and smiled at me, causing my anger to subside.

"Hey, Yami about time you came over here. Sit down by side me" Yugi said. I slide down beside him and looked away shyly. I felt hand grip my hand and looked over to find Yugi smiling at me. I blushed and a gave gentle smile. Atem growl under his breath.

"Oh, Yami" Yugi said. I looked over to Yugi and he lefted his back into his lap and unzipped it.. I tilted my head cutely in confusion. Yugi pulled out a Pink Poffin and my red eyes lit up at the side. I lick my lips. Yugi put the poffin in front of my mouth and bite into as I looked cutely at him. Yugi giggled and smiled at me as I chew cutely.

"He y, I would like to try one please" Atem asked with a smile on his face. I puffed my cheek out with narrow eyes at him in annyoce.

" Oh..um..okay" Yugi said as he pulled out another poffin then slowly put it up to Atem mouth. Atem bit into it and chew it. His red eyes lit up and he chew quickly then took another bite.

"Wow,Yugi this is really" Atem said happily and smiled as he ate the poffin. I tighten my grip in Yugi hand.

"Thanks! It my special respie" Yugi said as he took out another poffin and ate it. A little piece came off on the side of his lip. I went to say something but Atem beat me to it.

" Yugi you have something on your lip" Atem said as lean in closer to Yugi, causing Yugi eyes to widen and blush form across his check. He lick the crumb off the side of his lip. Yugi face went bet red. "There I got it" Atem added. Yugi sway from side to side. Yugi was so red, you can see steam come out of his ears.

"Grrrrrrrr!" I growled at him. I looked to Yugi and he was falling backwards. My eyes widen and I extended my arms.

"i..uh..ahh" Yugi said then fainted. My eyes widen and I caught him.

" Yugi,Yugi,Yugi" I said as I looked down at him sadly and tap his cheek. Atem giggled and smiled. Yugi shout back up and shook his head.

" I'm okay, Yugi is okay" Yugi said. I pulled Yugi to me, leaning his back against my chest and wrap my arms possesivly around him, causing him to blush.

"Yami" Yugi said as he gentle smiled and looked down. Atem rolled his eyes and took a bite of his Poffin.

"Hey guys, it getting late. We should really get back on the path to the City" Brock said as he got up from the ground. We all got up, Yugi return his Pokemon into their balls expect for Pikachu. Atem return his Pokemon and left out Raichu who was happily walking next to Pikachu. Atem was smiling while he was walked along side Yugi while i walked on the other side. Atem moved closer to Yugi, a little to close for comforter. Atem hand brush against Yugi. I growl under my breath. Pikachu ears twitched then looked to me. He jumped on top of my head.

"Rai-chu" Raichu said as it watch Pikachu leave it side then frowned but continue walking.

"Pikaa-chu" Pikachu said as he pat my head. I deeply sigh then smiled up at yellow Pokemon, who happily smile down at me while we walked. I accidentally ran into somebody back and looked at them. It was Yugi, he gave me smile.

"We here, now we just need to find the gym" Brock said. Everybody smiled at the town.

"We cant wast no time here , let go Yuhi. I know the way there" Atem said excitedly then grabbed Yugi hand and ran off ran. My eyes widen. I felt somebody grab my hand and drag me. Yugi smiled as he looked back at me as the three of us ran.

"Hey wait for us!" Ash said as he ran after all of us, followed by Misty and Brock.

"Pikaaa" Ash's Pikachu said.
