Chapter 26: Pikachu Choice Part 1

The gray smoked clouded the air. I open my eyes and i spot tails that looked like two white ribbons then they disappear. The smoke clear from the air and Atem and Raichu was standing in front of Pikachu and Yugi.

"Uh, what happen?" Yugi said as he opened his eyes. I ran over to him and tackled him to the ground, hugging him.

"Oh my Ra, your okay!" I said as I place one hand on Yugi cheek and stare at him in the eyes. Yugi was in shock and continued to stare off.

" Yugi, are you okay?" Atem asked as he shoved me away causing me to land on my butt, he placed a hand on Yugi cheek as he looked into his eyes. I growled as I looked over to him.

"Grr, why you" I said angrily. Yugi shook his head and looked at Atem then down to Pikachu.

" That Pikachu didn't even stand a chance" Surge said as he chuckled. Atem and I glared at Surge then Atem got up to his feet and place a hand on his hip then turn to Yugi and an gave a gentle smiled

" Yugi, take Pikachu to the Pokemon Center. It need to be treated for his wound" Atem said then he turn to Surge. Yugi nodded his head then looked over to me.

"Yami" Yugi said and I got up to my feet and so did he. We took off out the door with Brock and Misty behind us but I stopped and looked back.

" Atem aren't you coming" I asked him. His red eyes gaze back at me.

"You go on ahead. I have some unfinished business here...I am a trainer after all" Atem said with a wink and charming smile then turn his gaze back to Surge. I stared at him with small blush on my cheeks and rolled my eyes then turn around and ran out the door to catch up with Yugi and the others..

~Yugi Pov~

I busted through the Pokemon center doors with Yami, Brock and Misty behind me.

"Nurse Joy, nurse joy!" I called. A back door open from behind the counter and out came the pink hair lady with Chansey behind her.

" Oh dear! Chansey get a stretcher now" Nurse Joy said as she turn to Chansey.

"Chan-sey!" Chansey said as it took off to get stretcher..

"Please Nurse Joy, help my Pikachu I cried with tears in my eyes as I held Pikachu out.

"I'll do the best I can" Joy said as she took Pikachu away. Chansey came back with white streamer and Joy place Pikachu on it. They both ran into the emergency room. I looked down to ground, my golden bangs cover mg eyes as tear fell to the ground. I felt strong arms wrap around my waist and held me.

"It will be okay, Yugi" Yami said as he held me. I turn around and wrap my arms around his next, hugged him tightly.

~Time Skip~

~Ra, why can't I get it out of my mind. What were those white tails. Is Atem a Pokemon as well. It couldn't be who I think it is~ Yami thought to himself as he looked out the window.

I was sitting in chair beside Pikachu bed as stared down worriedly at Pikachu, who head was wrap in white bandage only leaving it ears out while it red cheek had bangs in shape of an X on it and one of his arms were wrap up. Pikachu two long ears moves twice then it open it blue eyes slowly.

"Chuu" Pikachu said softly as it came to. I gentle smiled at him.

"Pikachu, I'm so glad your alright I was so worried" I said it but it looked angrily at me. I looked at him worriedly.

"Pika-chu" Pikachu said as it turn away with me with an anger look.

"Yugi, Pikachu got hurt pretty badly" Brock said as he looked down sadly at me. I gave him anger looked.

"I can see that, Brock" I said as I looked up at him. I felt a hand gentle lay on my shoulder then i looked at the hand then up. My eyes connected to a gentle smile Yami.

"No, no Yugi. Brock means Pikachu spirit" Yami said as he looked to Pikachu.

" What do you mean,Yami?" I asked him. Yami turn to look at me.

"Pikachu was over powder by that Raichu" Yami said softly then looked to Pikachu. I stood up from my chair.

"Yami is right, Yugi" Misty said as she looked down to Pikachu worriedly.

"Well we just have to try harder. We could when if he did" Yugi said.

"I think Pikachu was trying it best last time" Misty said sadly. I looked down sadly to the ground. Yami hugged me and gave me a sweet smile. I gave him a small smile.

" there is a way that you might win" a womanly voice called. Everybody looked to the right and there stood Nurse Joy with a blue clip board and red box.

"Hm" Everyone said at the same time. Nurse Joy fully walked into the room and stop.

"Im sorry, I over hear your conversation" Joy said as she looked at us.

"How could we win?" I asked her with a hopeful voice. She moved her clip board out the way and open the red box. I looked down at the shiney emerald green stone that had I lighting bolt inside.

"I came across this. It's a thunder stone. It can evevole your Pikachu into Raichu but once you change it, you can not change it back" Joy said. I took the stone from the box and looked at Pikachu ,who blue eyes looked curiously at the stone then back at me.

"Pikachu, I'm not going to force you to evevole. This is yours choice so Pikachu. I'm going to leave the stone here and if u wantnto evevole into a Raichu then just touch it. I'll still love u either way" I said to him, I put down the thunder stone on the table beside the bed and looked at Piakchu.

"Pika" Pikachu said softly as it stared at the stone.

"I'll be out in the lobby, ill come check on you later" I said to Pikachu. I walked out the door with Misty and Brock behind me.
