Chapter 18: The Battle Continues

~Yugi Pov~

"Alright Dragonair use wrap!" I said. Dragonair wrapped it tail around Geodude. "Now fly up into the air with Geodude up into the air" I said. Dragonair flew high up into the air.

"Geoo" Geodude yelled.

" Oh no Geodude" Brock said in panic. I smiled then looked up into the air at Dragonair.

"Hmm, I wonder what Yugi planning to do" Ash asked himself. Misty looked to Ash then to the sky.

"This is becoming a very interesting battle. Yami sure is missing it.. Hey matter fact, where is Yami?" Misty said as she looked around.

" Oh yeah, He didn't come back with Yugi" Ash said.

"Pikachu" {translation: YEAH} Pikachu said in agreement as it nodded it head.

" Hm, stomachache?" Misty said then turn her gaze back to the battle and Ash did the same.

"Draginair, throw Geodude into the ground" I said.

"Mmma" Dragonair said as it swung it tail back then flung it forward, launching Geodude at top speed.

"Geeeoo" Geodude yelled as he flew down towards the rocky floor. "Dude!" Geodude said as he slammed into the ground causing it to shatter.

"No, Geodude get up" Brock said as he watch Geodude struggle to get back up from the ground.

" Now Dragonair finish Geodude off with Aqua Jet!" I yelled up to the sky.

"Mmmmaaaaa!" Dragonair yelled as it body began to glow then it dove down towards the ground at top speed. Water surround it body and it slam right into Geodude, causing dust to cloud the air. Everybody cough echo through the air.

"Did- Did I win?" I said as I coughed. The dust in the air started to clear away and there stood Dragonair in front of me.

"Ge-o" Geodude said as he land on the ground. The referee lifted up his flag into the air. My eyes sparkles in happiness as I smiled.

"Geodude is unable to battle, Dragonair is the winner" The referee said.

" Yes, I did it!" I yelled happily.

"Mmmma!" Dragonair yelled as it flew towards me. I open my air ready for impact. Dragonair came into my arms and hugged him. Dragonair purr as it nuzzled my cheek.

" You did great Dragonair" I said as I rubbed his head.

"Mmmmma!" {tranlation: thank you" Dragonair yelled.

"Nice Job, Geodude. You battled well. Take nice long rest" Brock said as Geodude went back into it Pokeball. "Not bad, Yugi" Brock continued.

I stopped rubbing Dragonair and looked over to Brock. "Geez, thanks" I said as I let go of Dragonair.

"But let see how you hold up against my next Pokemon" Brock said as he pulled out Pokeball and threw into the air. The ball shoot out bright white light. My eyes widen and looked up. the long rocky Pokemon resembles a giant chain of gray boulders that become smaller towards the tail. It has a rocky spine on its head and a pair of black eyes right beneath it.

"What is that!" I said. I took out my Pokedex without breaking eye contact with the pokemon above me.

~Pokedex voice: Onix, the Rock Snake Pokémon. It tunnels through the ground which shakes when it raises its thunderous roar. It can move the ground at fifty miles per hour~

" Onix huh?" I said to myself as I looked at my Pokedex.

"You ready, Yugi" Brock said as he looked at me with a hand on his hip. I smiled and nodded. Dragonair went back to battle and I put away my pokedex.

" You bet, I am" I said as looked over to Brock. Brock smirked at me.

" Alright then, here it comes. Onix use dig" Brock said. Onix let out roar then dove into the ground. Dragonair looked all around the field and I did to.

" Now, where are you hiding" I said as I looked to the rocky floor.

" Onix now!" Brock said. Onix shot out from underneath Dragonair and slam it head into it, causing Dragonair to cry out in pain as it flew up.

" Oh no! Dragonair!" I said in panic as I watch my pokemon fly into the air. Brock smiled then looked to Onix

" Onix use iron tail and slam Drgaonair into the ground" Brock said. Onix let out roar and the tip of it tail glew white. It flung it tail back then forward and slam it into Dragonair. Dragonair let out cry while it slam into the ground. Dirt flew through the air, blocking my view of Dragonair. I covered one of my eyes while guardning the open one from dirt with my air, keeping my eye on the battle. The dust finally clear and I removed my arms and look to the ground...
