Chapter 37: Unexpected Surprises

~YUGI POV~

I was startled awake by a crash. I rubbed my eyes from the sleep and quickly flung of the blanket that was cover my body. I jump to my feet and busted out the green door of my room into the hall where everybody met and was looking confused.

" What the hell was that?" Joey said as he rub the back of his head.

"I don't know" Ash said as he looked at Joey. Another crash could be hear through the center.

"That came from outside" Misty said panicking.

" Let go check it out!" Brock said. Everybody nodded and ran quickly out the door of Pokemon Center. Nurse Joy and Chaney  with wide eyes.

"Please calm down boys. Somebody going to hurt" Nurse Joy said trying to reason. Everybody approach Nurse Joy.

"What going on, Nurse Joey" Yugi said as he approach beside her.

" You down right snake! You plan this whole thing. You flith of a pokemon prince" Yami yelled as he threw Atem into the ground. My eyes widen at the fight that was breaking out between Yami and Atem.

"How dare insult me or assault me" Atem said as he came up from the ground.

"What going on here?" I yelled as I ran between the two men and held my arms out.

"He pregnant!" Yami yelled as he try to get pass me. My eyes widen as I looked at him then Atem, who looked down and away from me.

"Atem is that true?" I said softly. Atem deeply sigh then got up to his feet. Yugi let his arms fall down to his side and turn fully to look at Atem. Atem reach for Yugi hand and grip it then place to his cheek and nuzzle it sadly.

" Yugi.. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done it but I wanted you. I care about you, Yugi. Please whatever you choose to do, I'm fine with it" Atem said sadly as he looked to me. I looked away sadly then back to Atem.

" Yugi, don't believe him cause if he did. He wouldn't have done this" Yami growl out. Yami eyes began to glowed red as he stare intensely at Atem, who was glaring back at him.

"Don't worry, Yugi. I won't get be a burden to you" Atem said as he looked to Yugi. Yugi looked back to Atem and stare into his sorry eyes.

"I know you, because I'm going to rid of it!" Yami growl out as he transform into his Latios form. Atem cradle his stomach protective then step back away from Yugi and bare his teeth.

"Over my dead body" Atem said as he stare intensely at Yami. Atem eyes began to glow red.

"That can surely be arranged" Yami said as he flew at top speed at Atem. Atem narrowed his eyes at Yami. Atem flip back dodging Yami attack then Atem transform mid air and landed on all fours. He let out deep growl as he stared at Yami. Yugi eyes widen then ran start run over to the two.

"No please stop this!" Yugi said as he ran to them.

"Dragon Pulse" Yami said as he fired a multicolored dragon-shaped beam of energy from its mouth at Atem. Atem quickly and gracefully jumped out of the way of the beam. Rock and dirt shot into the air, stopping Yugi in track and he guarded his eyes.

"Aurora Beam" Atem said as a multicolor orb firm in his mouth then fire a shining powerful metallic multicolor at Yami. Yami tried to dodge but it was to bug so it hit him and crash to the ground. Yami got back into the air and growl at Atem.

"Oh No! I don't know what to do." Yugi yelled as he stare at the fight. He didn't want anybody to get hurt. Yugi quickly pulled out a Poke ball on his belt. Yugi felt a hand on his shoulders and looked up. It was Joey, he held out a black and purple ball with an M on it.

"Yugi. I know it along shot but capture Atem. It would be safer for him and until Yami calm down" Joey said as he release Yugi's shoulder. Yugi nodded his head.

"But first Joey. I have to get them to stop" Yugi said. He pulled out the Poke ball and threw it into the air. A white light shot out and blue eyes open with a smile.

"Pikachu!" Pikachu said happily as he looked to Yugi. Yugi smiled at his Pikachu.

" Yami, you can't beat me. You're far to weak." Atem said. Yami growl like rabid dog and his eyes start to gkoe solid white. A white aura surrounded Atem and he was lifted off the ground. Atem struggled and kick his legs. Yami growl then threw him into tree hard. Atem rolled as he slam into the ground and landed on his side. Atem struggled to get to his feet and he managed.

"I'm more deadly then you think, Atem" Yami said as he hovered over Atem with narrowed angry eyes that were still glow pure white.

"Pikachu, give it all you got and use you're thunderbolt!" Yugi yelled. Pikachu jump into the air with smirk on it face.

"PIII-KAAA-CHUUUUU!" Pikachu yelled as hit shot a thunderbolt at Yami and Atem, shocking them both. The shock lit up the whole sky and burn the trees. Pikachu landed on all fours in front of Yugi. Atem and Yami land down on the ground, whimpering in pain as static shot off of the two as they land paralyze on the ground.

"Alright forgive me you two. Pokeball go!" Yugi said as he threw the master ball at Atem. The ball tap Atem, bring him into the ball. The ball wiggled and flash red violently then it stopped and cleared. Yugi ran up and pick it up.

"Good job, Pikachu. Cool, I got Suicune" Yugi said sadly. Pikachu looked sadly at it trainer. Yami looked up to Yugi with painfully sad crimson eyes as soft tears form in them. I dropped down to my knees and cupped his Latios face in my hands and rubbed his cheeks with thumbs.

" I don't want to lose you" Yami said heartbrokenly through his mind link to Yugi and Yugi eyes widen the he gave gentle smile.

"Oh..Yami" Yugi said softly as he rubbed Yami cheeks and Yami nuzzle sadly in Yugi hands. "That would never happens" Yugi smiled gentle. Yami close his eyes and finally falling a sleep in his trainers hands from his lack of energy. Yugi pulled out Yami Pokeball and Yami went back into his Pokeball. Yugi got up to his knees and sadly looked to the ground his blonde bangs covering his eyes as he walked pass Everyone.

"Yugi.. I'll be here if you need me" Joey said in comfort. Yugi didn't turn his head.

"Thanks" Yugi said sadly as he walked back into the Pokemon center with Atem and Yami Pokeball in his hands.
