Softly the knee high grass danced in the El Nino breeze
That this summer day offered so generously to the world
The brisk waltzing grass glided the length of my pale shins
The edges of their leaving a pleasant sting as I walked
The slight tapping a the steams against each other
Sweet to my to virginity of my ear drums
The deep violet of the red clover bright against the yellow green of the field grass
But ever so enjoyable to my sky eyes
There lying into as it settles with out the disturbance of gushes
Watching the few condensed water pockets drift by above me
Brought Long awaited peace to my swollen life force.
Sitting in a flattened spot of vegetation
I let the silken air kiss the bare skin of my limbs
As wild red berries danced in my mouth
Moments after being pick by my fingers
There I let the violet, yellow and the green of the Prairie
And the waltzing and the warm gushes of wind
Take me away where ever they desired.
