Lucy's POV
"Hey Levy which do you think is better, Pink? Or Blue?" I asked Levy. She's my best friend and has been there for me ever since I moved to Magnolia. And the reason I moved here? Well...that's a long story. But back to reality."Um...blue in my opinion."
"Pink it is." I giggled. Frankly I already wanted the pink pair, given that its my favorite color.
"Uh Lu-chan...if you were just going to get the pink pair, then why'd you ask for my opinion?" Levy asked me.
"Uhh...for fun?" I stated, but it sounded like more of a question.
I walked over to the cash register and placed the shorts on the counter and waited for the cashier to ring them up.
"300 jewels." She tells me. I pull out my wallet and give the lady the money for the shorts. She then hands me the bag with my merchandise and I thank her before leaving the store with Levy.
"Have you heard of the rumors that have been spreading?" She asks me. I think about it for a moment.
"Not lately why?" I ask.
"Apparently a demon lives just beyond those mountains." She says pointing behind us. "And it's said that if you tap the green stone that sticks out the side of the mountain, the demon will come and make you his slave." Levy says shaking a bit.
"Oh geez don't worry about it Lev. I doubt it's even true." I tell her, walking up to a café. I sit down under a table with an umbrella and set my bag down, and Levy soon sits with me.
"But what if they are?!"
"They're not. Trust me, stuff like that is never real."
"Yeah, I guess you're right."
"Hi, I'm your waiter today, may I take your order?" The waiter asks.
"Yes I'll have a strawberry milkshake please." I tell him.
"And I'll have an iced green tea." The waiter nods and walks away to get our orders.
"Just imagine what it would be like living with the thing. Oh! Do you thinks it's a boy or a girl?" She asks.
"Levy I already said it wasn't true, so what's the point in fretting about it?"
"But it might be true."
"But it's not."
"How do you know?" She asks crossing her arms.
"W-well...just 'cause I...you know what! Don't go turning this around on me! You go ahead and believe whatever you want but I don't think it's true." I say puffing out my cheeks and crossing my arms.
"Ok then...if you really don't believe the rumor, then I dare you to go and touch the rock." Levy dares.
"Ok." I reply, "and when I come back I'm gonna say I told you so."
"Okay~ I'll be waiting." Levy says with a smug look. I just smirk knowing that I'm right. I mean seriously? A demon? Yeah right.
~Later That Night~
I am currently texting Levy and letting her know I'm heading towards the mountain right now. After I send the text I put my phone down on my dresser and grab my jacket while walking out the door.Thank goodness the walk wasn't that long or I probably wouldn't have done this.
About 20 minutes later I arrive at the base of the mountain and search for the green rock. What I didn't expect was the rock being transparent. You could see all through the rock, what was beside and behind the it . Which makes me wonder if this was put here by someone, or just here naturally.
