Lucy's POV
First I cleaned all the floors which took about two hours, and now I'm currently looking for all of the dirty bathrooms. So far I've only come across three, and I just got finished cleaning the last one. Now I'm walking down the halls knocking and opening doors discovering the next thing I need to clean.I was carrying a bucket of supplies for when I clean and usually it takes from 30 minutes to an hour depending on how dirty it is.
I decided that I would clean the torture tools last since I don't even wanna see what they looked like, let alone the room he used. I wonder how many people have been there. Surely I'll see it one day if I don't quit yelling at him and slipping up. And it's only my first day here.
If I had to guess the time I'd have to say that it was maybe 9:00 and I was utterly exhausted. Sweeping floors may not look tiring, and honestly it really isn't, if there aren't so many floors and they weren't so big.
I just finished checking all the bathrooms and there wasn't another dirty one, to my disappointment.
Now I have to go look at all the blood in that room and and the tools that are caked in it.
Damn
I trudge to the kitchen and put the supplies away, and also looked for another bucket to put the tools in. Just the thought makes shivers go up my spine.
Once I found one I sighed and slowly started walking towards the end of the hallway where the torture chamber is located. I stumbled upon it looking for the bathrooms and almost threw up.
Damn Levy. This never would have happened if- no. Don't blame her. It was your choice to touch the rock.
Damnit. Now I'm blaming my friends. I know I chose to do it but, I can't help that little part of me that blames Levy for this. If she hadn't of dared me to do this...but I know it's my fault. God I'm so selfish.
Before I knew it I was standing right in front of the huge wooden doors getting ready to go see what he uses to hurt and tear people apart. And maybe even kill them.
I felt tears form at the back of my eyes and took a deep breath while blinking to make them go away.
I can do this. I have to earn his trust. I have to be strong.
I put my hands up to the doors and slowly pushed them open, but I was not prepared for what I was about to see next.
Now that I have time to look at everything, I realize how horrifying it actually is. Tables piled with tools caked in blood, dried blood on torture machines, ropes hanging from the ceiling.
Why is he making me do this?
I hesitantly make my way into the room, looking at every object, eyeing all of his torture utensils, thinking that one day, it could be me in here.
I quickly scoop up all of the bloody tools and put them in the bucket. I hold the bucket away from my body, to disgusted too look at them.
Too soon do I reach the kitchen and have to wash the dried blood off of them.
I set the bucket on the ground and fill up the sink with hot water, putting some soap in the bottom. As soon as the water reaches the half way point, I dump the tools in, making sure to get them covered in water.
I sit down at a kitchen bar and wait for them to soak for a little bit, since they're covered in so much dry blood.
But right as I sit down, the "lovely" demon decides to walk in.
"What are you doing?" He asks.
"Uh...my chores." I answer in a 'duh' tone.
"Then why are you sitting down?" He asks.
"Your kidding right? Have you seen those tools? There covered in so much blood I'll be surprised if I can get it all off."
"Whatever just get it done."
"I-whatever I will."
"Good." He says before he walks out.
Finally.
I stand up and go to the sink, grabbing a scrubbing tool, I stick it under the now red water and suds it with soap. Then I pick up one tool and wash them, one after another until I'm finally finished.
———
"Ah" I sigh in relaxation when I'm finished putting all the tools away in there respective places. Relief fills me as I realize I'm done cleaning and can leave this horrid room. Stepping out of the room I close the large double doors and quietly make my way through the corridor.
On my way I run into a familiar silver haired girl, Lisanna I think was her name, but she's scowling at me. I sweat drop knowing that I've done something wrong, even though I've literally only talked to her once.
I try to casually walk by, trying not to catch her attention but she stops me by grabbing my arm in a tight grip. I turn my head towards her, my eyebrows furrowed in confusion and she squeezes my arm tighter.
I wince in pain as I feel the pressure on my arm gradually increase. I look up to find that she still has a scowl on her face.
"Um...I'm sorry did I do something wrong?" She appears to grit her teeth and shoved me away freeing me of her iron grip.
"Don't act like you don't know." She replies. I make a note that she's clenched her fists so tight her knuckles are white.
"I'm sorry I don't-" I'm cut off when I feel my face fling to the side along with a sharp stinging sensation in the place that her hand must have been only moments ago.
"You did this! You made him hate me! This is a warning. If we ever cross paths again, I won't be so nice as to just give you a slap."
I don't have a chance to reply before she walks away without giving me a second glance.
I clench my fists and grit my teeth in anger. I think about screaming at her that she's gonna have to do better but refrain from doing so because I'm not sure of the extent of her capabilities.
Deciding to just brush it off I head towards the main room in search of Natsu. While I was on my way I was thinking of things I should make Natsu for lunch when is suddenly I realized I had lost track of the time.
I immediately ran back to my room and checked the clock on my bedside table.
1:30 is what it read.
I immediately started panicking and headed towards the kitchen. When I entered I decided to throw anything together and made a sandwich.
Just as I was about to carry it out to him, Virgo stopped me.
"I made master Natsu lunch since you were cleaning don't worry about it."
I sighed in relief realizing that this sandwich wasn't near enough to what he eats in one meal.
I decided to head back to my room and wait until Natsu decides to give me something to do.
Haha finally updated😅 sorry it took so long. I had total writers block for a while but I am going to continue this book I promise! Thanks for your support😇
