Practice

Onicka and Aubrey. Sounds great together right? That's what they thought. The sun was rising as they felt the need for sleep. It was about to be later that afternoon when Drake awakes and can be positive last nights events weren't a dream. Nicki turns over and takes some of the sheet with her. He laughs and goes to the bathroom.

"Drake?" He hears Nicki call out.

"Yeah?" He asks flushing the toilet and coming back into his room. Nicki was sitting up in his bed rubbing her face.

"Just was calling her name" she says giggling. He smiles.

"You not done calling my name?"

"Not if you are" she says teasing. She pecks his lips and stands up to stretch.

She yawns looking to see if she had any notifications sent to her.

"Dang" she says strolling the front screen of her iPhone.

"What?" He asks looking concerned.

"Just a lot of messages and stuff" she says. "Calvin called me like ten times. "

"I see Kat called me. " Drake says getting up and walking out the room. Nicki looks around the room and waits for him to come back in.

"She knocked out. I think she just got locked out the house last night and had to go through the back or a window" he says.

"Oh. Hey can you get my bag out the car? I wanna shower and change" she says.

"Yeah." He says grabbing his keys. He runs out and back in with her bag.

"Thanks" she says taking it. "When you change and stuff you wanna go with me to return the car?"

"Yeah" she says going to his bathroom. As she showers Drake changed into more clothes. About twenty minutes later Nicki was out and ready to go.

"You smell nice" he says passing by her. She smiles and walks out the house with him.

"Can I drive?" She asks.

"Yeah" he says giving her the keys. They go to the car rental shop and return back home with his car. Arriving back at their homes Nicki sees Calvin waiting outside her house.

"What are you doing here?" She asks as he gets out his car.

"You haven't been answering my calls and I really need to talk to you. Nicki last night wasn't even my fault. I didn't know what was going on until you walked in." He says. Drake chuckles.

"Calvin did you just hear yourself?"

"Nicki I'm serious. One of those broads slip something in my drink. Myles wa stage one to attract they asses from Collin's kitchen" he says.

"I really don't care Calvin" Nicki says. "I've been with you over a year and you did what any other guy would do. And that's be a basic ass nigga" she says and takes Drake hand.

"Oh so you call yourself with him? I know that we just friends was some bullshit!" He yells.

"Aye yo I need you to check your tone. For a nigga that wants her back you acting like a bitch and disrespecting her just cause you can't have her no more. Accept the fact you fucked up and lost her" Drake says. Calvin smacks his lips.

"Drake you can pipe that shit down-"

"Or what?!" Drake bucks. Nicki pulls him more towards her.

"Drake let it go" she says.

"Nah if he want his ass beat he can get it!"

"Come and show me something then nigga!" Nicki's mom and brother then appears with Kat running outside after realizing her brother was about to fight.

"Nika come here!" Carol yells. Nicki was just trying to calm Drake and Calvin down.

"Nigga I hit first. Remember that!?" Calvin spat. That pissed Drake off and he just went straight for him. They were tussling for a while until Caiah pulls Drake off of him and holds him back. Nicki pulls Calvin to the side and talks to him.

"I don't want this anymore. You had one job and if that upsets you then you can dip like you did at the party" Nicki says.

"So you really trying to be with Drake just because I was drugged at a party?"

"Calvin you didn't seem drugged after I caught you. You weren't even drunk! Myles was! So stop fucking playing with me!" Nicki says slapping him. "Just fucking pissed me off!" She says.

"Well then fuck you then Nic!"

"Already did. Find someone else to fuck with Calvin!" She yells. He gets into his car and speeds off. Nicki turned to see everyone talking.

"So you and you are together?" Caiah asks.

"Yes" Drake says going up to Nicki.

"You good?" He asks.

"Yeah. I just don't like liars" she says.

"He was a fraud" he says. Nicki hugs Drake and kisses on his neck. He pulls away and walks with her up to her house.

"Drake are you okay?" Carol asks.

"Yeah. I'm just protecting Nicki" he says.

"Thank you" she says hugging him. "You wanna come over for dinner?" She asks.

"Yeah that'll be fine" he says.

"Me too?" Asks Kat.

"Of course " she says laughing. "And invite your mom" she says. They all laugh.

"Okay" she says. Carol goes into the house with Caiah.

"My stuff is in your room but you can bring it later" Nicki says to him.

"Aight. Stay chill" he says kissing her. She smiles and goes into her house.

"I've been waiting for y'all to get together"
Kat says. "Now y'all gonna be wanting to eat married and have kids and shit" Kat says making Drake laugh.

"Kat you funny bruh" he says.

"You gotta tell me how that happened" she says as he puts her in a light headlock as they go to their house.

"Whatever" he says.
