Dricki: Unestablished

Been a Minute

Although Nicki and Drake were taking a break on their relationship things seemed to get in the way of them restoring things back.

(Two weeks earlier)

Nicki was sitting and studying with her friends Thembi and Sherika at her apartment.

"Hey are you going to the end of the year party?" Thembi asks them.

"I am. Nicki you should go. You barely go out since you and Drake decided to break up." Sherika says.

"It wasn't a break up. We are taking a break" she says.

"Two months seems like a break up. Have you even talked to him?"

"No" Nicki says sighing. "He has someone he is dating" she admits.

"Is it that chick that he is seen with? She tall and light skinned?"

"Doesn't she go here too?"

"Yeah. She was at the party we went to before we broke up" Nicki says.

"Nicki you hold so much in. Are you okay with it?" Thembi asks.

"I mean I guess. I can't do anything about it. Obviously he feels he has moved on".

"Well I know a way you can get over him. Going to that party won't be a bad start" Sherika says making them laugh.

"Tell you what, if I get over an 80 on my term test then I will go" she says.

"Deal" they both say.

Drake was at his basketball court playing a game with Lil Wayne and Tyga.

"Drake you and Carla seem to be getting close" Tyga says.

"Nah we chillin" he says.

"What happen to you and your girl? Like foreal" Wayne asks.

"Honestly she said she wanted a break. We just started to distance ourself when my work got more in the way" he says.

"Well I'm going to start working with her in another week or so. You want me to book something with y'all to get together?"

"I ain't trying to force anything"

"Look man he has Carla. She fine too" Tyga says.

"But Nicki is authentic " Wayne says in defense.

"Look I don't wanna talk about. I'm good" Drake says throwing the ball in the basket.

(Following Day)

Nicki went online to check her scores and screams in excitement through the apartment .

"I'm guessing she passed" Thembi says. Nicki laughs nodding.

"Yasss! Party tonight!" Sherika says happily.

They all chilled in the apartment until they felt the need to get ready to go out.

When they arrive at the party it was filled with people and music was surrounding the place.

"Oh look Nicki, it's Safaree and Aaron" Thembi says. They walk over and say hey to them.

"Nicki you and me should link up some time and make some music" Safaree says.

"I'll take you up on that offer" she says laughing. Nicki knew both Aaron and Safaree were interested in her but she felt better being with Safaree than Aaron.

"Can we dance?" Aaron asks.

"Uh, sure" she says. They all go out on the floor and dance.

"Nicki I was hoping you could give me a chance"

"Aaron you're sweet and all but I'm not as interested in you as you are in me. And it would be wrong of me to accept you as a boyfriend when I don't see you that way"

"You could of you just give me a chance" he says. Nicki laughs.

"You still aren't taking no as an answer?" She asks. He says no dancing around her. Nicki and  Aaron have grown better as friends. She spots Drake and is shocked to see him. She then gestures for her friends to see.

"Just ignore him" they mouth.

"I'm thirsty" Nicki says.

"What you want to drink?" Aaron asks.

"Juice or something. I don't like drinking soda too much" she says. Aaron then takes her hand and leads her to the cooler.

"Get whatever you want" he says. Nicki smiles and gets a fruit punch. "When is your birthday?"

"Why?"

"Me being a psychologist in the future I can tell how our future can pan out by our zodiac signs" he says.

"I'm a Sagittarius "

"That's good. I'm an Aries and you and me are a perfect match when it comes to communication, compatibility and sex" he sex. Nicki laughs.

"You are something else" she says.  "If I say yes to a trial date will you show me a better approach?"

"I can guarantee a better approach" he says.

"Okay" she says. He gets happy and picks her up hugging her. It lowkey turned Nicki on to have a tall guy pick her up. She smiles when he puts her down.

Drake spots them from across the room when he is leaving with Carla. He didn't think she'd be at the party, let alone with Aaron. He felt like his heart somewhat sunk.

Nicki looks over and her smile fades to seeing him as he sees her. She then puts her attention back on Aaron.

After dropping Carla off he calls Wayne up.

"Set up a meeting with me and Nicki" he says.

"Aight" Wayne says. All he could think about was Nicki for the rest of the night.

Aaron offers to take Nicki back to her apartment.

"I'll see you tomorrow" she says.

"Can I get a goodbye kiss?" He asks. She laughs. She was attracted to him more than she was before. He leans down and kisses her deeply against the lips. He was a good kisser and Nicki didn't notice they were making out moments later. He bites his lip and pulls away. "You know you my girl now" he says about to walk away. Nicki laughs pulling him back.

"Let's prove that theory of yours" she says letting him into her apartment. He smirks walking inside.

"Whatever you want" he says closing the apartment door back.
