you want to travel through the minds

the minds of the adolescents

well tell me

do you even know your own

or even half of it

now how do you expect to say

experience means

comprehended remembrance

if comprehension is beyond you

and if remembrance fails you

just try to name the food you ate for breakfast

oh that’s just short term

then tell me do you remember

most of your days in eighth grade

oh but you know most kids most day

have every reason to smile for you

in the family photo you’ll forget to send

good luck trying to travel through anyone’s minds

if you don’t me me asking though

do you even know your own

really
