So This is Love (Sequel to Tale as Old As Time)

Chapter 11 ~ What would I do to see you smiling at me...

Dana P.O.V

"I refuse mom!" I crossed my arms rolling my eyes. My mom sighed

"Honey, this is your job....you can't NOT go" She shook her head. "You need to be there hun....as much as I would like to, I can't keep calling in for you telling them that you are sick" She pouted

"I am sick mom" I sighed. "I've come down with a bad case of broken heart" I wept. She rolled her eyes. 

"You've been in your room for almost two weeks now, only leaving when you need to use the bathroom or to eat...you can't keep going on like this" She said pulling the covers off of me. 

"yes I can......and I intend to keep doing this until....." I sighed not knowing what to say. 

"Until what Dana?... Until your managers change their minds about you and Gen?" She raised an eyebrow. I nodded crossing my arms over my chest again. 

"Look Dana" She said sitting at the foot of my bed and looking at me. "I love Genesis so much....you know that! I was more than happy when I found out about you two being together....I was able to accept the fact that you were dating her even though you two are in a band together....some people aren't like me, or your father, or Gen's parents....some people aren't going to be able to get used to the fact you two are together....your managers, and some of the fans are those people...and I know it really sucks that you two can't be together anymore......life is twisted sometimes....but dude, you gotta grab the bull by the horns and go with it!" She smacked my leg slightly. 

It took a lot for me not to laugh at my mom's metaphorical speaking....I didn't really understand what that meant but I kinda think she's saying that I gotta take things day by day....I can't keep moping around about Gen. It won't fix anything...I'm just gonna have to be strong and see where life takes me....

If that's what my mom meant with her whole lecture then I guess she's right....I need to be strong...for mine and Genesis' sake...I can't let our managers know that they've broken me...

"I'll go get dressed" I mumbled. My mom smiled wide

"I knew you'd do the right thing!" She giggled before walking out of my room. I sighed slightly grabbing some clothes and changing into them. 

To be completely honest...I wasn't skipping out on work because I was embarrassed or scared of my managers....I was skipping out on work because I knew deep down that I wouldn't be able to face Genesis....I just can't see her and not be able to interact with her like we used to...I can't see her and not be able to tell her I love her....

Genesis P.O.V

"so for the charity event....each of you guys will individually sing a Disney song...so for today's activity...we are going to be practicing each of your songs...I'm gonna assign each of you a song and we're gonna practice it" Jill said with a warm smile. I smiled slightly. Jill was the sweetest. 

"Here you go" She said handing each of us a sheet with lyrics on them. I glanced down at them and realized it was 'Part of Your World' from the little mermaid. I giggled slightly. 

"We needed to throw in a princess song somewhere in the show...hope you don't mind Gen" Jill frowned. I shook my head giggling

"No it's perfect Jill"  I smiled. Jill smiled at me when the door to the dance studio opened. I looked up to see Dana. My heart fluttered slightly...I haven't seen him in weeks because he was sick. 

I was about to walk over to him when I realized that I couldn't. I bit my lip looking down. He walked over to Jill and tackled her in a hug

"Jill!!! I missed you!!!" He shouted crushing her in a bear hug. Jill groaned
