Genesis P.O.V

"Dana" I said turning my head, so he was now kissing my neck.

"hmm?" He said not lifting his lips off my neck. I giggled

"We gotta get up, we have rehearsels in an hour" I said trying to push Dana off of me. He groaned

"Gen" He whined. I giggled harder

"Babe your parents are probably wondering why you haven't gone home" I said shaking my head. Dana chuckled resting his head on my chest and looking up at me

"They know I spend the night here whenever your parents go out of town" He smirked. I rolled my eyes playfully.

"I know, but you haven't even called them to let them know you're okay" I said raising my eyebrows. He rolled his eyes. He finally got off of me and walked over to the bed side table and picked up his phone

"Well seeing that it's only 6 a.m, it's a little too early to call them. You know how my dad gets when you wake him" he chuckled. "But I am going to call Jill and tell her we can't make it to rehearsels" He said with a smirk.

"Have you lost your mind?!!" I said sitting up in bed. He chuckled

"Just a bit" He shrugged. My eyes widened

"Dana we can't just skip out on rehearsels" I said shaking my head "especially the both of us at the same time, it's too suspicious" I added. He brought the phone up to his ear and held up a finger telling me to wait.

"Hey Jill" he said heaving. To be honest if I wasn't looking right at him I would've thought he was really sick

"I-I don't think I'm gonna be able to make it in today...I s-spent the whole night t-taking care of Gen and myself...I think w-we got f-food poisoning f-from the r-restaurant we w-went to last n-night" He groaned.

I covered my mouth quickly, trying not to laugh. Dana was something else I swear.

"Th-thanks Jill, I-I'll tell G-gen you wished h-her well" He groaned. He looked over at me and smirked. I shook my head slightly.

"B-bye" He groaned before hanging up and placing his phone on the table once more. "So that's out of the way" He said with a satisfied grin.

"Dana Vaughns, you sly dog" I said crossing my arms over my chest. He ran over and tackled me down onto the bed. I was a giggling mess

"You dork" I said pushing him off of me. He chuckled looking over at me

"You love me" He said with a smile. I smiled

"I mean, you suck sometimes. But yeah I guess I do" I shrugged causing him to chuckle

"Well you know what, you suck sometimes too" he said with a nod.

"Do I really ?" I asked with a fake pout

"Yes...yes you do" he said with a nod. I giggled

"I mean sure you suck at times but I'd do anything for you" he said with a nod.

"Boy do you have a way with words" I said raising my eyebrows

"Way to ruin a moment there Gen" he said shaking his head. I couldn't help but to laugh

"I take it this is a moment where I suck huh?" I asked with a slight smirk

"Something like that" he joked. I smiled fondly at him. He chuckled leaning over and kissing me gently.

"How bout I make us some breakfast" he said standing up of the bed. I smiled wide

"Great with words and he cooks. I've hit the mother load" I teased

"You're such a dork" he chuckled before walking out of my room. I was lost in thought when I heard my phone go off.

I walked over and picked it up. It was a text from ... David ??!

"Bummed you couldn't make it to rehearsals. I was looking forward to seeing you again beautiful" I read aloud. I read the message over and over again.

I'm not sure if I should be concerned over the fact that David has picked up the wrong vibe between us, or over the fact that Dana is literally going to pummel him when he finds out.

"Can I just have it easy for once?" I groaned falling back onto my bed.
