Snow Storm
I’ve injected myself with love a few times,
My hands felt warmer, but my heart still felt cold
So I locked myself up, away from the world
Afraid to be surrounded of memories of how I used to be –
Alive
These past few days have been the hardest
Each day my body slowly surrenders to the cold,
And soon winter will come.
When the snow storm appears again,
I know, I won’t make it another winter
And when the day comes,
I’ll be standing in the pure white snow, saying,
Baby, watch me fade
Because the snow storm is covering me up,
And soon I will disappear.
