Games
There you go again with your silly little games
You whisper lovely lies to me at night
I can feel my heart crumbling with each lie
Your lies won’t reach me once I’m gone.
When it’s raining,
And my tears blend in.
But you keep coming back
Finding me torn to pieces
You won’t bother to ask
All you see is someone to play with
How many girls do you play games with, my dear?
Because I am starting to think I am the only one
That you tend to let your sad soul hit on
And you say you are barely breathing
Well baby, my heart is barely beating
So let me tell you, I am the one who is barely breathing
Suffocated by your lies you pour down on me
Yet, at the end of the day, I'll say:
I lost, but I never gave up fighting to win.
