Chapter 9

Bez rides on the Zoomer- still Zy's Zoomer- to the OxiCity. Rev. The city of Rev, floats near the clouds. Bez saw it from over 1000 Units away- it seems like.

When Bez arrives at the OxiCity- well- underneath the OxiCity. He pauses. How do I-? Bez gets off the Zoomer. And lifts the- what seems like a hundred ton- Zoomer and pulls back on it. Slowly he pulls the Zoomer so the back of it is floating just above the ground. He balances the Zommer with all his weight- which was just shy of 200 Units of weight- *Because almost everything is measured in Units on this planet.* - to keep the Zoomer upright. Then he shifts his weight- and jumps on the Zoomer- staring upwards now- and he pulls on the throttle. The Zoomer launches upward- and then quickly falls back down- and slams into the ground- with Bez underwear it. The Zoomer sparks and then sizzles- Bez- with his insides out the outside- at least that's what it felt like to Bez- Flips the- now- Broken Zoomer off of him. Bez exhales- and blood comes it's the air. Bez quickly thinks what to do- he reaches into his pocket and pulls out a small brown paper back. He rips it open and shoves his fat hand inside the bag and pulls it back out with a small yellow crystal. He cups the crystal in his hand- his back in the ground. He coughs and more blood sprays out. Bez puts the crystal in his mouth- to his right cheek.

After a moment yellow foam erupts from his mouth- and he swallows part of it. More foam produces itself and he swallows it again. After a moment more of doing this- the foam stops- Bez lays there- his mouth agape- he breaths deeply. Bez coughs again- but no blood come out this time. After a moment longer , Bez gets up, and goes to the Zoomer, laying on the ground. He examines it for a moment- "Oxi engine..." Bez said. That's why he came to the Oxi City- to get a few new Oxi engines. Bez rubs his temples- and then-

Zy pushes the shack door open, trailing Rolan. Rolan turns around the corner- Zy quickly rushes to the corner- and peeks around it. Rolan is talking to someone.

Rolan holds a small key in his hand- and he passes it to Morl. Morl- is basically homeless- because he refuses to settle down anywhere. He usually is pan-handling people in the City. The key- unlocked the The City Of Iliad- or at least that's what the guy that sold it to Rolan said. And it wasn't cheap- a couple thousand units- but...Rolan was loaded, so it was no problem. And here he was "selling" it to Morl, for 300 Units. Morl had already given Rolan- the Units and Rolan handed Morl the Key to the Citu of Iliad.

Zy waters as Rolan handed-whatever it was to the guy- after they said some more words. The guy walked around the corner. Rolan paused for a second and looked directly at Zy. And Zy slammed back behind the corner, then ran back to the shack.

Rolan turned his gaze- looking around to make sure nobody saw the transaction- Rolan didn't notice anyone. So he started walking the way Morl had went.

Rolan saw Morl- and ran up from behind him to catch up. "Wait-" Rolan said- acting to sound in worry. "I forgot to tell you something about that!" Rolan went on. Morl turned to look at him. "What is it?" He says in a irritated voice. "Here, come over here." Rolan said- leading Morl away from anyone else, as they walked out toward Bez's hole. Directly to, Bez's hole. Rolan stopped Morl- when Morl was right in front of the hole. "What is it, I have to go-"
Morl starts, but Rolan shoves a knife through Morl's neck before he can finish, his sentence. Rolan grabs Morl's arm and grabs the key that is in his hand, thenhe quickly lets go of Morl, and he falls into the hole. Dead. Rolan the casually walks back to his house- which is basically a straight shot from the whole.

As soon as Zy gets back to the shack- he quickly dives to his bed, and pretends like he is sleeping. It is still very early in the morning- and Zy isn't usually up this early. After a few more minutes pass- Rolan rolls into the shack. He looks like he is intoxicated again. He stumbles into the wall- and then gets to his room. Zy watches as he falls into his bed. He's drunk- again- how did he get drunk that fast- I saw him- a minute ago- Zy pauses his own thoughts for a second. He can't be drunk- he must be...

Zy shakes the thought away.

Someone comes up to Bez from- what seem like nowhere. They wear a long read coat. Their face is dark- from the shade of the OxiCity. "You need to get in the City?" They ask Bez. Bez shifts. "Uhh...yea"
Bez says- his voice shaking a little. "Do you have any Units?" The person in the red coat ask.
"Yea."
"You can't get in for 400 Units."
"I only have 2 and half."
The guy in the red coat- smacks Bez down- with a cane, that he was hiding in his coat.
Bez hits the ground- his head hits the Zoomer.
"Give me your Units!" The red coat screams.
Bez tries to get up to escape but the red coat kick his down. "Give me your Units!" He screams again- Bez shakes his head- unable to speak. The red coat ravages Bez- searching for his Units. Bez hits him with his huge fist- and tries to elbow him- The red coat slams his head into Bez's. And Bez's vision fades to nothing- in an instant.
