Stella’s POV

I couldn’t even distinguish the pure honesty and the fake one anymore.

I could Dave has stepped into the bar with his completely jerk cocky features, as Kevin stalks ater him.

My nervous grows bigger than it should be. My stomach feels like a bunch of bombs which are ready to explode in a matter of seconds. I’m not in a really good situation. Literally, I’m in trouble.

I have to escape.

But, could I? I always feel like Ethan is supervising me with his hawk-eyed. I’m sure he actually notices my nervousness, and it makes my plan on escaping gets harder. You should’ve known that if someone lays their eyes on you, you wouldn’t be able to move easily. Totally, you would feel uncomfortable. And that’s what I exactly feel right now.

“Are you scared?” he breaks the ice between us, causing me to snap my head to face him.

“No,” it’s neither a complete lie nor a pure truth. I’m not scared of him. Of Dave. Why would I? I’m just afraid of all the bad possibilities he might do to me.

“Smile and be brave. I know you’re a brave enough girl” he says, trying to calm my jumpiness.

He is possibly correct. But, what if I couldn’t commit what he encourages me to do and do the opposite thing instead?

We reach the door of it’s bar, as the beat of my heart increases in second.

God, please help me.

Ethan pushes the door open, as the nauseating smell of alcohol immediately gets mingled and it makes my hand to cover my nose up in reflex.

Seriously, how the hell could someone stand out for hours in this kind of place? Don’t they know it’s not so good for their well-being? Don’t they care with their health?

“Are you okay?” Ethan asks quietly beside me with his eyes laying down my face. I’m kind of glad that he’s not actually as evil as his two other buddies.

Before I could even speak any word, Dave has called Ethan’s name out loud.

“Ethan, why are you so long? Come here!”

It’s not difficult for us to find where Dave is sitting down at. The bar isn’t as crowded as what expect it to be. Even if it’s still crowded enough regardless.

We approach Dave right after we’ve found him, as I notice it’s not just him and Kevin. There are a boy and a girl settling down there.

“Ah, it’s her!” Dave points his index finger to me, causing those two unknown person to lay their eyes curiously on me.

Can’t they just stop staring at me like that and ignore my existence instead?

“So, are you ready?” the unknown boy asks with a smile plastering on his features.

Ready? Ready for what? Those three lads named Dave, Ethan, and Kevin don’t even tell me anything. They just drag me here compulsively like a heartless person.

I seriously have no idea. What should I do? Should I flee or eep standing up here with these humans without knowing what plans they might have set to me?
