Stella's POV

Have you ever felt that kind of feeling where there are lots of things nor events playing in your mind and it's sickening and tightening your chest slowly that it hurts and you just want to burst into tears all of a sudden? Have you ever felt that kind of feeling where you always think too much at night?

Well, I have.

So, after that crying moment in the room with Lucy hugging me beside, I decide to follow her words and stay in my room until everything gets better.

The door creaks open, revealing a brown-haired girl in blue plain t-shirt and black jeans with something in her hands.

"Hey, how are you feeling now?" she greets right when she realizes I've noticed her presence.

"I feel better. Thank you for asking," I chuckle, not even intending to sound sarcastic. Sarah puts a plastic she brings on a bedside drawer before pulling out a white chair and settling down. "I get you fruits anyway. It's good for your health."

"Thanks," a smile escapes my lips as the words slip out of my mouth before adding, "How do you know I'm here by the way?"

"Some of my friends who were attending to Dave's party last night told me," I almost forget Dave's party if only Sarah doesn't mention it.

"And I've told your Mom because I think she doesn't know anything about this and needs to know. Is it okay?" Sarah adds and grins guiltily as if she's done something wrong and unacceptable.

I'm surprised, of course, because that's so out of my assumption, but her words make me realize that they're completely true. My Mom needs to know the truth, and there's no way for me to keep hiding it from her. She'll know sooner or later, however.

"It's okay. I think you're right," I bite my bottom lips nervously, afraid of any possibilities that might happen if my Mom suddenly comes over just to see her daughter laying weakly on a hospital bed.

As if Sarah could read my mind, she drags her mouth open and says encouragingly, "She'll come in about a few minutes. Don't worry."

And before I could open my mouth to answer her words, the door suddenly cracks open as a familiar person comes in.

"Lucy? What's up?" I frown slightly, confused of what this nurse is going to do.

"I just want to deliver someone's message here," she bursts into a mysterious smile as she stands beside Sarah.

Knowing that I don't understand what her meaning is, she immediately continues, "So, I just went to Alex's room to check his condition. And I was glad to find him had been conscious. And he asked me if you were okay, and I said you were. Then he said, 'Please tell her I'm feeling better now. I just don't want her to worry about me'."

As Lucy finishes her words, she immediately walks out of the room. I couldn't help but smile like a complete idiot I am at her words. It's not like that I've just got a love letter or something, but it seems as if Alex cares about me. I don't know if it's just me wishing for something that might be so irrelevant, or if it's actually true. But, could it be true? Could I believe Lucy's words this time?

Sarah, whom I don't realize is still there in the room with me, coughs slightly and says, "I think he likes you."

"What? You gotta be kidding me, right?" I tilt my head so that I could see her face clearly as a sarcastic laugh escapes my mouth. I'm pretty sure my cheeks have been a perfect color of tomato.
