Recap:

I followed the unusual sound, which led to behind the school and saw the most horrible thing ever.

Steven was getting beat up by 3 guys who were much bigger than he was. "Hey! Leave him alone!" I pushed ten off Steven and they ran away. One of them looked back and I gave them the finger.

His face was very red, bloody, and bruised. He was too weak to even move. "What happened? Who are they? Why did they do this to you?" I cry.

"They a-are some of Brit-Brittany's friends. She.. She sent them here be-because I broke up with her. Sh-she wanted me t-to feel pain." I tried to stand up but, failed. I put his arms around his arms and grabbed his stuff. He limped, still on my shoulders, to where we normally sit.

"We need to tell someone! Who knows when this will happen again!" I said. "I'm fine, it won't happen again." I sighed a frustrated sigh. "Alright. But if this does happen again, we have to tell someone... I'll be back. It won't be long."

I ran inside the school and to the girls restroom. I got a few paper towels and wet them and a few dry ones. I ran back to where Steven was at and sat in front of him. "Come here, hold still." He leaned closer so I can clean him up. I gently dabbed his faces worth the wet paper towel. "Ouch!" He said.

"Sorry." I dabbed his face again. "I swear I will kill Brittany if this happens again. I don't like her at all! I wish she would ju-" I was cut off by Steven. "Relax Summer. It won't happen again. I promise." He touched my hands so that I would calm down and looked me straight in the eye.

I looked closer into his eyes. I need realized how gorgeous his eyes were. "Um hello? Earth to Summer!" He was waving his hands in front of my face.

"Oh um sorry." I blushed. Wait.. I just blushed.. I never do that unless.. I like someone...

Steven's POV

I noticed Summer blushing, which I found adorable. I really like her but she probably doesn't like me. I wish she did though. I want to ask her if she wants to go watch a movie with me sometime but I'm too scared.

'C'mon Steven just go for it!' my mind kept telling me. I did as my mind said.

"Hey Summer, I was wondering if may-" I was cut off by a car honking. "Oh sorry Steven. I have to go now. Hey um, do you want a ride. I mean you can barely walk! I'm sure my mom won't mind."

I smiled and said yes. We hopped into the car and drove off.
