Chapter 7

*Friday Morning*

"Summer! Wake up!" I fluttered my eyes opened and groaned. I looked at my alarm clock and it read 7:00 am. I decided to get up from bed and take a quick shower.

After showering I put on a dress like black and white jersey that said, 'TEAM LOSER 00' like the one Perrie Edwards has and I put on black Dr. Marten. Then I quickly brushed my wet hair. I left my hair how it naturally looked. I slipped on my black beanie. I went downstairs to eat breakfast.

By the tine i finished eating it was 7:45 (I'm a slow eater). I went upstairs to get my phone, backpack, and skateboard. I headed out the door to Stevens house to tell him it was time to go.

"Yo Steven! Hurry up we gotta go." I yelled. I heard his house door open. "Ok hold up." He went back in his house to get his things he needed and quickly came back out.

"Ok let's go." We rode our skateboards together to school and we soon arrived to our destination.

1st, 2nd, and 3rd went by really slow but it was now lunch time. Steven and I weren't hungry so we went to the filed to go on the bleachers. We sat at the very top. "Oh my god I'm so cold. I should've brought a sweater. It wasn't even that cold this morning!" I said. I was shaking like a scared chihuahua.

"Here," Steven said taking off his jacket. "Wear my sweater." He smiled. "It's ok Steven. You look cold." "Not really. Take it!" I was hesitant about it but I took it. I slipped it on my body and I soon smelled the fresh scent of him. He smelt like mint, which I absolutely loved. "Thanks." I blushed.

He smiled and he pulled me closer to him and wrapped his arms around me. I felt butterflies in my stomach whenever he touched me. "So are you doing anything today?" He asked. "Yeah, I'm actually going to a party tonight." I said.

"Oh cool. Who's party is it?"

"Just a few friends of mine. I met them at the park."

"What are their names?"

"Luke, Jai, Daniel, Robert and Niall." I've actually been texting and hanging out with them these past few days. They're really cools and so funny! Daniel and Robert are 14. Niall is 15. Luke and Jai are 16.

"Oh." Was all he said. He sounded a bit strange.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

*Steven's POV*

"What's wrong?" She asked.

'Everything's wrong. I really like you and I don't like the fact that you're going to a party with your guy friends because I'm jealous.' I thought to myself.

"Nothing." I said not making eye contact with her.

"Ok." She yawns after saying that and lay her head on my shoulders. Honestly, this position felt right. It just felt perfect, like it was meant to be for her to lay there. I smiled and lay my head on top of hers.

Summer's POV

*Friday Night; 7:30 PM*

I was almost ready to go to the party. I decided to wear something a bit girly for once, which was weird for me because I never wear anything girly. I guess I just wanted to try new things. Anyway, I wore a white sleeveless crop top and a high waisted floral print skirt. I slipped on pink slip on. I put in a ankle bracelet that had a cross on it. I straighten my hair and put on a light baby blue jean jacket on.

Then I put 3 silver bracelets on my right wrist. I brought my little purse that had my phone, wallet, earphones, chapstick/lip balm/lipstick, and emergency items inside. I checked myself once again and walked out my room.

"Ok mom and dad, I'll be back later. Love you." I said walking out the door. They didn't live too far from where I lived. It was a 10 minute walk to get there. When I finally arrived it was 7:45. It was mostly filled with teens around the ages of 16-19. I gulped before walking to the door. People were drunk laying on the grass, boys and girls making out with each other, red plastic cups and beer bottles laying on the ground everywhere.

I opened the door. I observed the house. It was a big 2 story house. I looked to my right and spotted Luke and Jai drinking. I walked to their direction. "Hey guys." I greeted. "Hey Summer! You look amazing." Luke complimented. I smiled at his kindness and replied with a simple thank you. We started a conversation about ourselves like what we like to do, our families and so on.

"Hey I'll be back. I'm going to get a drink. I went to the kitchen passing by many sweaty people. I got a cup and poured myself some soda. "Hey Summer." I heard a familiar voice behind me. Daniel. "Hey, what's up?" I said taking a sip of my cold drink. "Not much, this party is too loud. Wanna go outside?" Daniel asked. "Um, sure." He smiled and held my hand, leading me out the door. I'm going to be honest here. Daniel is one good looking guy.

I'm surprised he doesn't even have a girlfriend! He lead me to the quiet and peaceful backyard. There was a little pond that had orange and white spotted fish. It also had lily pads and flowers in the water. Near the pond was a bench. Daniel and I too a seat on it and looked up at the stars. "Wow, the stars are so beautiful." I gasped in amazement. "Yeah," He said looking down at me. "They're so beautiful." His hazel eyes looked into my eyes. He started to lean in and so did I.

Our lips connected. His were so soft and plump, kind of like mine. I had this weird but wonderful feeling in my stomach. We pulled apart and stared at each other once again. He smiled and leaned in again. I never wanted this to end.

We pulled apart again and laid in each others arms. I smiled at the thought of what just happened right now. 'I can't wait to tell Steven about tonight!' I told myself. My smiled turned into a frown when I mentioned Steven. I can't like Daniel! I like Steven. I-I think I do. Or do I like Daniel? Or do I like both?
