The Nara brothers

Ch. 1

8 years after Kyuubi's attack

In the early morning while everyone is still asleep, loud noises can be heard in one of the houses in Nara's clan, or to be more specific in the head clan's house.

Head Clan's house

The cries of pain were made by the twin, Shikamaru and Naruto, as their mother hit them both on the head. While mumbling 'what a drag' and 'troublesome woman', the twin grudgingly rise up from their own respective beds to their own restroom. If you wonder what happened earlier, well... let's say they forgot their routine.

Time skip

Shikaku is sitting in front of his children while looking at them with a bored expression. He then started to say, " I hoped you're ready because this is going to be the end of your freedom as you enter the academy today." He earned himself a frying pan flying toward him with a speed of lightning and followed by the voice of his wife, Yoshino, yelling " Don't corrupt our sons anymore. It is all your fault, making them lazy." He just shakes his head lazily and mumbling to himself that he was just warning them about the terror of being lectured all day long. The twin looked at each other, sighing, knowing that what their dad said is definitely true.

After the two finished breakfast, they head to school, walking in a really slow pace.

Ninja Academy

When they entered the classroom, they saw nothing but a sight of chaos. Every girls, except Hinata, in the class was squealing and clinging onto Sasuke. The twin pitied Sasuke genuinely. They know the boy since they were really young. They might not be close, but they are in a good term. At that moment, they want to help him, but they can't. Why? It is because nothing is worse than having angry girls (fangirls or not it doesn't matter, they are still girls) plotting your death every moment you turn your back. So, they decide to find Chouji instead. Chouji is a good friend of theirs. They met him through their father's work. He is nice and caring guy. It is nice having him around.

When they found Chouji, they hurriedly went to his side. They're glad that he saved seats for them. The seats located at the 4th row and next to the window. Above them is Shino and Hinata, they know them, but they never really talk to one another. Maybe it's because all of them are quiet person. Ino is a row below them. Ino... Shikamaru, Naruto, and Chouji, truly, didn't know what happened to her. How she became a fangirl is a complete mystery to them. The twin suspected that the case is more than what it seem to surface, but they keep quiet about it as they think that everyone have their own secret they don't want others to know.

As they sat down, the twin started to observe the children around them. Other than Chouji, Ino, Sasuke, Hinata, and Shino, there are only two other students that interest them. Sakura and Kiba. How they know Sakura and Kiba's names? Well.. they have their ways. Anyway, Sakura doesn't look like much, but they feel like she is hiding something interesting under that fangirl facade of hers. They had to keep their eyes open around her. Kiba is a wild and loud guy; he seem to be the type of person that would do well in taijutsu, and since he is an Inuzuka, their assumption is probably right.

After observing their environment, the twin started to dose off into their dreamland until their instructor woke them up, rudely I might add. That incident became daily from that day on for the rest of their four years in ninja academy. That four years were probably the most boring years that they had experienced in their life.

In the next chapter, I am going to jump straight to the result of the graduating exam. I hope I don't get lost in the road of life... uhh it's really hard to get out when you're in it. So, wish me luck!!!
