When I try on the gartered corset, I am happy to find that it still fits. Smiling, I send Jackson a text saying there's something in his office for him when he gets home. My hair and makeup are already done so I slip into one of the long white robes and tie it around me before heading downstairs to Jackson's office. As sit in his chair behind his desk, I wonder if this will work. He wanted to see me in lingerie the first time we were together but I never had the chance.

When I hear the front door open followed by footsteps, I jump up and make my way to the front of his desk. Sitting on the edge, I loosen my robe, letting it hang off one shoulder while showing off part of my chest. I push the bottom of the robe apart, showing off my stockings. The door opens, revealing three men; Jackson, his father, and his brother Zach. Jackson's eyes widen and he rushes over to me, blocking me from their view as I try to cover myself. "What the hell?" he whisper-yells.

"I sent you a text," I say, my cheeks growing hotter with each passing second.

He frowns. "I haven't checked my phone."

I glance behind him at Zach who is smirking and their father who doesn't find it as amusing. Casting my eyes downwards, I hop off the desk. "I'm going to bed."

"No, please," he whispers desperately. "I'll be up as soon as I can."

Nodding, I make my way to the door where I avoid eye contact with the men. When I reach the bedroom, I groan before throwing myself onto the bed. After a long moment, I stand up and wander out onto the balcony. I sit at the table as the cool night breeze blows past me. This has been the most embarrassing moment of my life and all I was trying to do was fix things between us.

Just when I begin losing hope on being with Jackson tonight, I hear voices from the ground below me. Standing, I walk to the rail and peek over the edge. I watch as Mr. Lancaster climbs into the car then glance at Zach who is on the opposite side of the car. He glances at the door before his eyes flicker up to me. A small smile appears on his lips and I flip him off before sauntering back into the bedroom. Closing the door, I take a deep breath before heading back downstairs. When I get to his office door, I hesitate before entering.

Jackson sit's at his desk, looking over some papers. I close the door before leaning against it. His eyes meet mine and he stands, walking towards me. Stopping in front of me, he reaches past me to lock the door. He reaches between us and unties the robe, pushing it off my shoulders. Lifting my chin, he presses his lips softly against mine. I slide my hands up his chest and around to the back of his neck. He leans down slightly and lifts me. I automatically wrap my legs around him before he begins walking with me in his arms.

When we come to a stop, he pulls away before carefully getting down to the floor. There's an incredibly soft rug on the floor in front of a fireplace that is now lit. Smiling down at me, he lays me back before he begins undressing. I watch in awe, thinking about how lucky I am to be with a man like him. We have our share of arguments but at the end of the day, I know I am still deeply in love with this man.

Once he's completely nude, his eyes rake over my body hungrily. I roll over teasingly, laying in a prone position and looking at him over my shoulder. "Maybe we should talk first," I suggest.

His eyes move down to my panties and he tears them off, causing my jaw to drop. Moving his body on top of mine, he leans his head down, kissing my shoulder. "I think I'll take you this way," he whispers. "Keep your legs together."

His teeth graze my shoulder as he positions himself. A chill shoots down my spine and he places his right hand on mine, lacing our fingers. He slowly pushes into me, causing all of the breath to leave my body. I lay my head against the rug and moan as he continues to thrust into me. Normally we can last a while but I can sense Jackson getting closer sooner than usual. He moans softly before thrusting into me, pouring himself into me. Surprisingly, the feeling is enough to spontaneously send me over the edge and the grip on his hand tightens.

He withdraws before releasing my hand and laying beside me. Our breathing slowly returns to normal and I turn my head to look up at him. He's staring up at the ceiling with an arm across his forehead. I move closer to him, slipping my arm around him as I press a soft kiss to his chest. "I swear I'll never be the quick again," he chuckles.

I smile. "Must've been the lingerie."

He puts his arm around me. "More like the tightness."

Roling my eyes, I move up slightly and kiss his jaw. "We should talk," I say.

"I noticed you put your clothes into the drawers," he says, avoiding the more important subject.

"I did," I nod. "I even found the pictures from our date in Vegas and at the Grand Canyon. And this," I add, holding up my right hand to show him the ring.

He smiles. "My promise ring. I wondered if you still had it."

"I could never get rid of our memories," I say, looking down at the ring.

He spins the ring around my finger. "Looks like you could use an upgrade," he says.

"Eventually," I agree.

He carefully moves me off of him before grabbing the blanket off the sofa to cover my bottom half. I watch as he stands and walks across the room to his desk. Sitting up, I fix the blanket as he searches for something in his desk drawers. When he finds it, he walks back over to me and I find it hard to concentrate when he's naked. Sitting beside me, he shows me the small black box in his hand. He opens it and I gawk at the ring. It's a rose gold wedding band with a large round diamond in the center and a smaller one on each side of it. Each diamond is surrounded by small ones.

"Emery, I love you more than words can describe. I have spent two years regretting ever letting you go but I know it was my fault and I don't want to risk losing you again. With this ring, I promise to love you for as long as I live, to tell you all of my secrets, to be here for you no matter what, to love you unconditionally, and to care for and support you," he says. "You're the only person I want to spend the rest of my life with. I hope to be an amazing father and husband one day. Would you do me the great honor of marrying me?"

My eyes fill with tears and I glance down at the beautiful ring once more. "Jackson..." I whisper.

"All you have to do say is yes and I will spend the rest of my life trying to make up for our lost time," he says. "You deserve the world, Emery, and I plan on giving it to you. Once we're married, you can be in control. I'll trust you completely once you have my last name because then I'll know you really are mine. Just know I want you more than anything. I'd give up everything if you asked me to. My entire life is in the palm of your hand right now and I want you to choose my fate. Will you marry me?"
