When we get back to our room, I sit on the edge of the bed and watch as Jackson strips down to his boxer briefs. He glances at me with a frown before walking into the bathroom. Sighing, I stand up and pull off my clothing and change into a black negligee with a matching thong. I bought it a while ago but have never worn it until now. I join Jackson in the bathroom, brushing my teeth beside him. He watches me through the mirror as he takes care of his toothbrush. "You look good in that," he says softly.
"Thanks."
Shaking his head, he leans against the wall. "Just tell me what's wrong. Jasmine said when she came out of the bathroom Sophie was talking to you. What'd she say?"
Leaning down, I rinse my mouth before grabbing the towel to dry it. "She said her son absolutely adores you and you always make sure he has the best of everything. She also said that she saw you at Coachella," I finish, tossing the towel on the counter and turning towards him.
"Okay," he says slowly. "Let's start with her son. I don't even know what he looks like. The only time I have ever saw him was in the hospital the day he was born."
"What about Coachella?" I ask.
He nods. "Yes, she was there."
"Did you hang out with her?"
He rolls his eyes. "One of the friends I went with was trying to hook up with her so we all went to her tent." Shaking my head, I walk past him through the doorway. "What's so bad about that? There were other people around. Nothing happened."
"There were people around when I was hanging out with your brother. At least he wasn't my ex," I snap, stopping and turning around. "The worse part is you not telling me. I had to hear it from her. If you were honest with me we wouldn't be having this issue."
"I am honest with you damn it," he groans. "I never lied about it, I just didn't tell you about it."
"Then I'll go hang out with Noah and see how you feel about it," I reply.
"This is ridiculous. Let's just go to bed," he says, walking to the bed.
Taking a deep breath, I turn and walk to the bed grabbing my pillow. Walking to the small closet, I grab the spare blanket and leave the bedroom. Dropping down on the slightly uncomfortable couch, I pull the blanket over me and close my eyes. We both need to cool down for a while.

The next day the girls and I spend most of the day down at the pool in our bikinis, drinking fruity drinks. About two hours before dinner, we decide to go shopping for dresses then go to a salon to get our hair and nails done. Jasmine sits to my left and Sam's to my right. Jackson and I haven't talked today but he doesn't even seem to care. Maybe I overreacted but so did he when I was hanging out with Zach. At least he's not my ex. "A penny for your thoughts?" Jasmine says from beside me.
"Just thinking about Jackson," I frown.
"You guys will be fine. Every couple needs a break every now and then," she says.
"He's so complicated and he's going to make me be the bad guy in all of this. He wants me to go running back to him and talk to him first. I feel so childish."
"Then make him come running back to you," she suggests. "You're getting your hair and nails done and you already have a sexy dress. Just make him beg for it."
"He thought Zach liked you, right?" Sam asks. I nod. "So dance with him after dinner and I guarantee you he will be quick to take his place."
"Are you sure?" I ask. "I don't want to cause any issues between you two."
"I trust you," she says. "And believe it or not, I trust Zach as well. He is head over heels about me," she smiles.
I smile as well. "I can tell."
Jasmine begins questioning her on Zach and I am thankful that the subject has shifted off of me and Jackson. Once our nails are finished, Jasmine does my makeup then I slip into my dress and Louis Vuitton heels. The red dress's neckline dips down between my breasts, showing off a little cleavage. It falls down to the floor, the slit in the side showing off my leg. When I look in the mirror, I am completely stunned. I don't remember ever looking this good. The dress hugs my body, showing off my curves. I put diamond studs in my ears before exiting the bedroom. Sam and Jasmine gasp, causing me to blush. "Do I look good?" I ask nervously.
"You look amazing," Jasmine breathes.
"Thank you. So do you guys. Thank you so much for helping me," I say with a smile.
"No problem."
"Well you guys better finish getting ready or else we'll be late," I say.
Nodding, they each go into a room to get there dresses on. As we walk downstairs to the limo, I'm glad I don't stand out too much. Jasmine looks like she's ready to walk the red carpet and Sam looks absolutely stunning in her dress. We all get into the limo and I turn to Jasmine confused. "The boys aren't riding with us?"
She shakes her head. "I told them we'd meet them there so their stares weren't wasted in the car."
"Good idea," I chuckle.
The car begins moving forward and I begin to feel nauseous. What if he gets mad other men look at me? Maybe dancing with Zach isn't such a good idea. "What's wrong?" Sam asks, noticing my worried expression.
"Maybe I should just go up him and apologize," I say.
She shakes her head. "No, you have nothing to be sorry for. He'll come to you, trust me."
Nodding, I take slow calming breathes, trying to convince myself that this will all be alright. When we step out of the limo, all eyes are on us.
