When we get to the plane, Jackson and I climb out and stand beside the car as Franklin takes our bags onto the plan. Leaning against the car, I wait impatiently for our friend's arrival. Jackson grasps my waist, using his hips to pin me against the car. I gasp, feeling his erection straining against his jeans. Looking up into his eyes, I see the same heated stare as I'm giving him. "I wish you'd tell me what's wrong," he says softly.
"It's nothing," I reply, looking away.
"It's something if it can put you off that easily," he mumbles, pushing his firm body flush against mine.
My cheeks warm slightly as I look up at him, feeling as if I overreacted earlier. "Is Ellie your ex?"
He raises his eyebrows before laughing a little. "No. She's just an old friend from high school. We were really close but she moved away and we lost contact," he pauses. "Is that really what has been bothering you this whole time?"
I turn my head, avoiding his eyes. "She's pretty."
"She's like a sister," he states.
"She likes you," I mumble, noticing a black SUV coming towards us.
He sighs. "I can't control other people's feelings but I can assure you that the feeling is not, never has been, and never will be mutual. She's like family." Releasing his hold on my waist, he holds my head between both hands and forces me to look up at him. "Jealousy doesn't suit you."
I pout up at him, causing him to smile. Leaning down, he presses his lips to mine and I hold onto his arms. The kiss is slow but heated with passion. Our tongues work together, exploring each others mouths as the kiss grows more intense. Jackson is pulled away from me abruptly and I inhale deeply, bringing my hand up to my lips. They are slightly swollen from our recent events but I like knowing it's from him. "There's time for that later," Jasmine grins, hugging me.
My eyes meet Jackson's and his look tells me that there most definitely will be. Biting my lip, I pull away from her. "I'm glad you could make it but could we please get in the air," I say, my heart racing with anticipation.
"Hell yeah," Zach says.
I notice he is also carrying Sam's bag. She gives me a quick hug before running to catch up with him. The rest of us follow behind and Jackson drapes his arm across my shoulder. I reach up and hold his hand while slipping my other arm around his waist. "Is this your plane?" I ask.
He shakes his head and I furrow my eyebrows in confusion, causing him to smile. "It's ours."
I smile shyly and he pecks my lips before pulling away and quickly leaning down to pick me up. "Jackson!" I yell, laughing.
"Now, now, Mrs. Lancaster. I believe you were being quite impatient back there," he says, climbing the steps of the plane with me bent over his shoulder. "I am only trying to satisfy my wife," he says, ducking as we cross the threshold.
"I could think of something else you could do to satisfy me," I grin.
He allows me to slide down his chest but I wrap my arms and legs around him, causing him to chuckle. "Your sexual appetite is unappeasable."
"I wonder why," I reply sarcastically.
"Get a room," Dominic says as he walks around us.
"Don't tempt me," Jackson mumbles before placing me down.
I peck his lips once more before lacing my fingers with his and leading him to the seats across from Jasmine and Dominic. Across the aisle beside them is Zach and Sam. Noticing Benjamin's absence, I furrow my eyebrows. "Did anyone invite Benjamin?"
Jasmine nods. "I did he had a photoshoot today. He was actually planning to meet us there but Alexis's grandma was admitted into the hospital this morning."
"That sucks," I mutter.
A flight attendant informs us that they are getting ready for take-off before disappearing once again. As the plan begins moving, I glance over at Jackson to see him staring at me with a smile on his lips. "I love you," he says softly.
I lean in towards him, my eyes flickering uncontrollably down to his lips. "I love you too. And I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you."
He presses his lips gently against mine as the plane begins to move. Pulling away, I stay close to him as we join in on Jasmine's conversation with Dominic about the wedding. Out of the corner of my eye I notice Zach and Sam talking quietly. Sam blushes as she smiles down at her hands and I quickly look away before I get caught looking. I don't want him to hurt her but I think she could straighten him out a bit. He can be nice when he wants to be.
I listen as Jackson informs Dominic of very detailed instructions for the wedding. Between the wedding and reception, the wedding party will be photographed on the venue's grounds. On part of the tour, we were taken out back where there was a long dock that stretched across the lake. At the very end was a large gazebo where some pictures will be taken. It's a very photogenic place and it makes me even more excited. "Who's all in the wedding party?" Jasmine asks.
"You, Sam, and I guess I'll ask my sister," I say, making a face.
She chuckles. "Who have you asked Jackson?"
"Zach, Dominic and Benjamin," he answers.
"I'm the best man," Zach grins. "I guess he really does love me."
Raising our hands, Jackson flips him off causing us to laugh. "Postpone the wedding and make yourselves a flower girl," Jasmine winks.
I glance up at Jackson nervously, knowing he'd love nothing more than to have a child together. "I think we'll have a few more parties before settling down," he replies with a small smile but it doesn't quite reach his eyes.
I turn to Jasmine as I give his hand a reassuring squeeze. "We've already decided to make a baby on our honeymoon."
I feel Jackson's eyes on me but I continue to look at Jasmine who gushes. "I'm going to be an aunt by this time next year," she says happily. "If it's a girl you have to name her after me."
Jackson laughs. "The answer to that is most definitely no. I'm sure Emery has a few names in mind."
Relentless, Jasmine continues to ramble off names but all I can think about is the child from my dream. Jackson is the only person I have ever considered having children with. It was never part of my life plan but for Jackson I will.
