The two boys looked at me with shock. Their mouths hanging open in surprise. "Tell me you're not lying." Thomas said grabbing me by my shoulder's. I shrugged him off now sat myself on top of Newt so he couldn't run away.

"I haven't tested it out yet. So you're the first. Thomas hold his arms down." I said as I reached into my bra to get the tube of vaccine.

"You seriously hide it there?" Thomas asked with a little blush upon his face as he pinned down Newt's arms.

"Let me go! You're lying! You don't even know if it works! Just kill me!" Newt shouted as he thrashed around.

"Will you shucking shut the shuck up! I don't care if you asked Thomas to kill you or the fact that you want to die! And if this doesn't work then I'll gladly kill you for telling Minho everything when you promised not to!" I shouted as Newt finally fell silent and stopped moving.

"I didn't mean to...we thought you were about to die and felt guilty."

"Then what about us? Telling you to kill you and live with the fact that we murdered our own friend. Flip this dumb shank over!" I shouted and we turned Newt onto his stomach. "This is going to hurt, but you deserve it for acting like an asshole." I said and stabbed the vaccine into the back of Newt's neck.

He began to start shaking violently and screaming loudly. "Is this suppose to happen?!" Thomas said worried as we struggled to keep Newt still. "Don't know. Like I said he's the first." I said and just then Newt's body went still.

I immediately got off of him and turned him around to check if he was still breathing. He was barely breathing. "We got to get him back so I could treat him more properly. I don't know if it worked or not, but if it doesn't..."

"Let's go!" Thomas said picking up Newt and slinging him over his shoulder. We ran back to the van and threw his body in the back of the car with us.

"Are you crazy! I'm not going to risk my life with that crank in here!" some bounty hunter shouted.

"Get moving! We don't have much time until the plan goes into action! And if you're so scared give me some shucking rope to tie him up!" I ordered and was given rope and we were back on the road to drop off Thomas.

Newt still hasn't woken up. I couldn't tell if the vaccine was working or not. We had already dropped Thomas off and were headed back to get the others. Newt was getting paler and seeming to lose all the blood within his face. His hands and feet were turning purple. Panic flooded my mind. Did the vaccine not work? Did something go wrong? Was he too far into the Flare that it would kill him rather than help?

His body started to shiver and as I felt his head, he was cold as ice. I took off the only jacket and shirt I had on. Newt was pretty skinny after he started his transformation to becoming a crank that he was able to fit into my shirt. I slipped my shirt on him and my jacket as well. Leaving me in my sports bra and pants only.

"Stop bloody staring and give whatever you can offer!" I shouted and soon articles of clothing and blankets were thrown my way. I covered Newt from head to toe. His lip were turning purple, but the shivering seemed to have subsided.

"We're here." Lawrence said. I immediately carried Newt out of the car and could see the others coming my way. Minho being the fastest of the group came running up to me.

"Take him and lay him down some place in the berg! I'll be right behind you after I go and get some stuff." I said hurriedly and ran off towards Jorge and Brenda who then followed me into the infested town of Denver to retrieve anything that Hans had left in his apartment.

It took a good 30 minutes before we came back and straight to the berg I went to find Newt tied down to one of the beds. "When you left, his temperature went up." Minho said as I arrived.
