"Don't leave me. Not again." I whispered with tears spilling from my eyes. I didn't know why I cried, but the tears kept coming. What happened afterwards I don't remember, because I had blacked out.

My heart seemed to stop. Time slowed down and everything seemed to be like a dream. I could hear Sonya call out my name, but it seemed so distant. She was alive...She's alive! I couldn't believe it. My legs started to run towards the way in which Frypan had left. Sonya yelled out my name chasing after me.
"Frypan!" I shouted as I caught him talking to Teresa. "Where did you see her? Where?!" I yelled frantic.
"Woah! Calm down Minho. She seemed different though. She was walking with that Brenda girl." Frypan said answering my questions. "She was in a lab coat...I don't know if she saw me or not, but she didn't even respond when I called out her name." he continued as I slowly backed away to only bump into Sonya.
What have I done...when I decide to move on, she comes back. I just kissed Sonya and now I know that she was alive and well this whole time. She was here all along. That means she was watching me all along with WICKED.
Things got awkward. Sonya had given me space to sort out my thoughts, but we still talked here and there with one another. We never mentioned the kiss that we had. Although, I could see that she was hurt the moment I threw her to the sidelines as Ji-ho was mentioned. It's been a week now and I went to talk to her.
"Hey...I'm sorry if I was being a jerk." I said sitting next to her. We were all gathering into a room that was going to hold a meeting with WICKED soon. "Hey don't worry about it. If I was in your shoes and found out that my long lost love was alive I would have acted the same way...I was kinda hurt that you seemed to just forget the feelings that we both had with one another." she said nervously smiling.
"I'm sorry." I said as I caressed her cheek. Just then the door popped open and in walked Rat man, Thomas, and Ji-ho. I automatically dropped my hand from Sonya's face as I made eye contact with Ji-ho. Her face showed no expression. It was as if WICKED sucked all her emotions and threw them away.
"Thomas!" Teresa shouted with joy and ran up to hug him. I quickly got up as well and went towards Ji-ho.
"I wouldn't even try subject A-7." Rat man said stepping between me and Ji-ho. She didn't even turn to look my way. She continued to look straight and stood still as if she were a puppet being controlled.
"Take a seat everyone!" Rat man shouted and waiting until everyone had took a seat. I sat beside Thomas who had dragged me away from Ji-ho. "Now you're probably wondering why you're here? Well We've decided to give you all back your memories." he said smiling. I wanted to punch the smile off his face.
Commotion fell within the room. Everyone was talking all at once. "Silence!" Rat man yelled and surprising everyone started to quiet down. "Now...I believe you all know what the Flare is and have seen the cranks at various stages of the Flare. Now most of you are immune, but some of you are not. So here are the people not immune. Newt." Rat man continued to speak a list of names.
My body froze hearing Newt's name. I felt a touch to my shoulder. I looked up to see Newt smiling at me. "Come on now. I'm not bloody scared of some Flare." he said smiling and looked over to Thomas who had a dreadful expression that probably reflected mine as well.
"And that's all. Now you all can decide whether or not you want your memory back." Rat man said having the same smile he had since the start of this so called meeting. I looked over to see Ji-ho stare in our direction. My heart leaped thinking that she probably come running over towards us.
"Choose now. And those who choose that they don't then they will face the consequences of their decision." Rat man said smiling and then he put his arm around Ji-ho's neck and whispered into her ear. Her expression didn't seem to change, but I could see anger lit within her eyes. "We'll be back in about 30 minutes. That's how long you guys have to decide." Rat man said and walked out the door along with Ji-ho.
"What's up with Suzy?" Newt asked the question that was running through my head.
"I don't know, she wouldn't speak to me. She'd only respond to Rat man. She's not the Suzy we knew in the glade." Thomas said. I heart broke a little hearing how much Ji-ho had changed.
We all talked and everyone, but a few of us were going to refuse. Rat man finally came back into the room along with guards. Ji-ho was nowhere to be seen. "Where is she? What did you you do to her?!" I said out of anger standing face-to-face with Rat man. I saw him smirk. How I was ready to punch his face, but Newt and Thomas pulled me away for the guards had these electrical guns pointed at me.
"Now now. We can't have our subjects be harmed." Rat man said to the guards who lowered their guns. "And if he does, then shoot him. He'll know what 5 minutes of suffering feels like. I'm sure the girl that you were so desperately looking for knows exactly how it feels like. You should try asking her when she helps to give you your memory back." he said. Oh how lucky he was that Newt and Thomas were holding me back for knocking off his ugly face.
"Now who wants to get their memories back?" he asked raising his eyebrows and scanned the room to see that everyone but Thomas, Newt and I had raised our hands. I stared at Sonya who gave me a guilty look but quickly looked away and never met my stare again.
Those that were going to get their memories back were escorted out the room. "As for you three, you will face the consequences to your choice. Lock them up." Rat man said and left the guards to escort us to a room that was a normal room with beds and a table with chairs.
Us three started to talk about an escape, since we knew that we didn't have a choice and would eventually be forced to retrieve our memories. "Do you think they tortured her?" I asked as the two cringe from my question.
"We'll save her too. Even if she doesn't want to be...we'll save her. Since she's one of us." Newt said smiling.
A/N: Ji-ho is finally back in the story! Now see what adventure awaits. Will they come back together or will Minho move on with Sonya??? Also, the scorch trials will be ending soon to progress further in the story. Will update in a week or so. Have a nice time until than.
