Chapter III

-The Darkest Dance-

Too think I’d go to prom was a bit sad. All because I didn’t get to pick Shiira, but no matter, I still have a date, her name was Alisha, who cried when he wasn’t pick by her boyfriend. But, yes, she still has me.

I was wearing a fancy black tux, with a red ribbon laced in my neck. I was looking at the mirror, admiring my brown colored hair, and blue colored eyes. I began fixing my shoes.

“Geo?” Roll was jumping in my bed, staring at me.

“Roll.” I smiled, he was wearing his own ribbon, a black one, strapped under his eye. “You look handsome.”

“Geo!” He smiled.

The door opened, my mother came in her usual kitchen apron outfit. “We have ourselves the prom king tonight!” She announced. Missa came in followed by the large floating Solrock with them.

“Mom. Stop.” I blushed.

“Ohh, no need honey. You look cute.” She clapped her hand. “Now, your hair, it needs to be…” She arranged my ragged hair, combed it until it was not-that-ragged look. It was silky now.

“Geo!” Roll laughed, then my sister hugged him. It was weird, considering Roll was so rough, Missa always hugged him.

“Okay, now Revel. Don’t be too careless okay? Don’t step on your date’s foot!” She said.

I jumped out of bed. “yes mom.” I turned and went for the door, “Come Roll, we’re walking” I announced.

“Du?” He shrugged.

I carried him in my shoulder, he wasn’t that heavy. “Okay, I’ll give you a lift.” We went to the door.

“Wait!” Mom cried. “I think you need to bring Sol just for this night.” She said, “He’s weak at night so be careful, but he can carry you.”

Solrock went out, his red and black eyes didn’t blink. But I think he was happy. But he didn’t say anything, instead, he tackled me softly and was actually carrying me with one of his spires, and began to float.

“Wow.” I said, “I never knew he can do this.”

“Oh he can.” Mom said, “Good luck now!”

Solrock floated me to the school.

The moon was up in the skies, and it looked real big. Solrock felt unsteady, but he was still carrying my weight. When I got to the guardhouse I returned both Roll and Sol in their Pokeball and let he guard check them.

“Okay, you can pass. Have a great prom.” He said.

I passed him by, “Yeah. Maybe if I get to dance Shiira.” I whispered.

I went directly to the Arena, where we will have the ceremony, but before that. I passed the fountain, it was covered with lights. Banners that looked like Chimecos. Pokémon’s were out so I had to release my own. Solrock wasn’t dressed, but my Geodude felt a bit handsome with his own clothes… Or ribbon.

I saw some Pokémon, most of them like Roll, was wearing a ribbon, or dark glasses. I saw a Pokémon cosplaying another Pokémon, a Rattata on the costume of a Raticate. I giggled.

Bird Pokémon were flying over me, a Pidgeotto was strangely wearing a tux tailored for him, there was a small cute Azurill that was gowned, and her tail had its own crown.

“Hey look who it is!” I heard Justin say, “Now that’s a tux.”

He was wearing a tight tux, with a blue ribbon. His Taillow, perched in his shoulder look normal, except that his claws were trimmed.
