Chapter IX
-The Monkey King-
Henia knocked my head. “You idiot! You’re getting into fights now?”
“He started it!” I complained, so she knocked my head again, then continued to apply an ointment on my bruise. Pancham was with us, holding the pouch full of medicine.
“You shouldn’t do that!” Her accent was lovely.
“I was forced to!” She knocked my head again, for the third time. “hey stop that!”
But she knocked it again. “I want to, don’t stop me! You owe me your life.”
“I don’t!” I complained, “Ouch!! Stop, that hurt!”
She took a patch on the pouch Pancham was holding, and pressed it gently on my cheeks. “There, that should do it.”
“T-thanks…”
She looked at me with disdained eyes. “Promise me never go to any fights again. M’kay?”
I stared at her… Her eyes were emerald, they were lovely.
“Revel.” She called.
I snapped, “What are we saying?”
She knocked my head and turned her back, “Idiot!”
I grabbed her by the shoulder, “I’m sorry Henia. I didn’t mean too. You just look, dashing. I mean pretty…”
She back, “You think so?”
I smiled at her, “I do.”
“Narra! Come inside!” The director appeared out of the door. I followed there, Henia took my arm and leaned on it as we walked.
“You’re coming?” I asked.
“Off course! After all, we beat up that bully!” She glared at Pancham victoriously.
The Pokemon resonated and jumped, “PAN!!!”
We sat at the same couch I sat just this morning. Director Noah looked serious. There was a long silence between the four of us (Including Pancham), then he spoke. “I’m afraid, Ms. Maxilla, you’re transfer here wasn’t as smooth as I said. I’m sorry for the behavior of the students, this is an isolated case.”
“I’m fine.” She said.
Apparently, the Director didn’t know what she did. I mean, what Pancham and she did.
The Director turned to me, “Mr. Narra! I trust you know what you did! Beating up that student!”
“I didn’t sir. Actually, I acted on defense. We had a battle…”
“YES! A battle! In the canteen! Against the rules!” he screamed.
“I know that, but he did threaten me. Sir…”
“Enough! This incident would surely be known by your parents!” He turned his back.
“Director.” Henia interrupted, “I took part on the commotion, I saw what that man did to my friend.”
Director looked surprised. “You know him?”
“I owe him my life.” She looked back at me, with her emerald eyes. Then to the director, “Sir, I have beaten up that man with my Pancham, if there is some punishment on that behavior, I would gladly suffer it.”
The old man was caught off guard. “But Ms. Maxilla, you just transferred here… Your father… He’d be mad!”
“Yes, that too. Knowing he proposed funding the School trip to Hoenn, and her only daughter enrolled at this prestigious school.” She said, her accent and voice sounded serious.
