Y/N and Zoey walked to Jazz, both talking in normal fashion: "So how was your day so far?" "Pretty good, mom made me wait to drive Connor here, so I was almost late because of his ass." "Hey, try having to drive him to one school, carry him into his class, and drive to your school."

"Yeesh, did you really carry her in?" Zoey asked her as they entered the room.

"I said what I said." Y/N responded, sitting in front of the piano.

"Hey guys," Zoey and Y/N look up from each other, and see their two (only other) friends, Veronica and Martha. (Yes, they somehow play jazz, and I deeply apologize if you don't play piano.)

They smiled. "So, did you two do anything worthwhile today, so far?" Y/N asked.

Veronica cringed. "Yeah, so I may or may not have forged a hall pass for The Heathers."

"You did what?!" Martha and Zoey whispered.

"Oh, that's their names!" Y/N said.

Veronica nodded. "Yeah.... Heather Duke was puking her guts out in the bathroom, and Ms. Lemming came in, so I didn't want them to get caught and-."

"You didn't want them to get caught?!" "Is that why you look different?" "Wait, which one's Heather Duke?" The three girls asked simultaneously.

Veronica shook her head. "Anyway, hey! What did you and Zoey do, Y/N?" She asked her.

Before she could respond, Zoey spoke for her. "Y/N met a guy." She smirked.

"Ooooo, what's he like?" Martha walked closer, looking at Y/N  like a child waiting for a story.

Y/N slightly panicked, but stifled a chuckle. "I didn't meet him today; it was last week when he fell from a tree and broke his arm." That did not help to say the least.

"So what's lover boy's name?"

"Veronica!" Y/N tried not to shout, while flushing, causing Zoey and Martha to laugh.

"What, I'm just asking."

She sighed. "Evan Hansen."

"Fancy."

"Hey," Martha spoke up. "What were you guys thinking about we have a movie night at my house tonight? You know, get back into the school spirit."

Veronica smiled. "I like that idea, what movie?"

"I rented 'The Princess Bride'."

"Again? Don't you have it memorized by now?" Zoey asked.

"What can I say? I'm a sucker for a happy ending."

Y/N shrugged. "I don't know if I can, I- I mean, my-my dad is-is probably going to want me home since-since it's a school night, and he'll want me to help Millie with homework, you know."

Martha faked a sad face. "Aww, it'll be no fun then if all of us aren't there."

Y/N smiled. "Hey, it's alright,  I'll have just as much fun teasing my baby sister."

"Ever meet a fella by the name of 'Hill'?" The band teacher's voice echoed when he entered. This was such a fun warm up for the students, Harold Hill only ever did it anytime he was the one late.

"Hill?" "Hill?" "Hill?" "Hill?" "Hill?" "Hill?" "HILL!"

...

The rest of the two periods were mostly uneventful; besides the fact that an exchange student sassed the hell out of another kid in History, and Alana unintentionally called the substitute in Algebra an idiot, nothing really happened.
