Grayson's P.O.V.

I held her in my arms as I trailed my fingers up to her face, I could almost hear her heart beat now. As we crept closer and closer until the tip of my nose tapped her cheek. We stayed there until we were exchanging the air from our lungs, panting we were so close until she stopped.

"I think I should go."she said pulling away slowly   "My mom is probably wondering where I am."

"Uhhh.... Yeah we should head back in and grab Ethan.", I agreed ignoring it too
I was so embarrassed as we started walking back my face turned red. And Ethan found us and walked over.

"Hey found you guys.", he said out of breath. He paused for a second confused "uhm is everything okay?", he asked

"Yeah its cool I just think that my mom has to wake up early for work and I didn't want her to wait up for me.", Kiana said

"Oh uhm okay.", Ethan replied

As we walked back into the garage. She kept her head down the entire time trying to not make conversation, but she couldn't help but look at the piano one last time and smile a little. And just like that her smile quickly faded and she dragged on, back into the house. In a split second we said our goodbyes and she was gone.

A FIVE MONTHS LATER

The past couple week has been the best weeks of school I've ever had. Thanks to Kiana things at school have been getting so much better. A lot of remarks that people have been making have died down to a mere stare in the halls. Things were actually looking great for the time being, and Kiana was finally apart of our life.

"Hey are you coming over tonight?", Kiana asked

"Uhm I think so I just have to finish my homework.", I replied

Kiana giggled, I loved it when she laughed.
"Homework? If you're that worried about it just do it at my place.", she said "I mean we do have history together."

"Okay, well then we can all ride together after school.", I replied

"Cool. oh and tell Ethan that we need to stop at the mall before we head to my house."

"Kay i'll see you later then."

I watched as she walked away so calmly and that's when, she was tripped by a boy surrounded by a group of people. I quickly tried running to her aid while they all laughed at her but before I could reach her a hand pulled her to her feet. It was Zach, my eyes immediately lit a flame.

"WHAT THE HELL ZACH!", I screeched as I pulled Kiana behind me

"Sorry I guess I should watch where my foot is", He said sarcastically

I pushed him up against the locker. And Kiana jumped back in front of me

"Grayson it's okay, just let it go he isn't worth it.", she said holding my chest with both her hands. She looked at me as if she were holding back her tears.

I grunted and snarled at Zach while me and Kiana walked away

"Keep her close you don't know who might steal her away.",  Zach yelled

My eyes burned with fury but I couldn't upset Kiana as she held my hand pulling me away from the scene.
