"I'm not sneaking out again," I said with finality in my tone as I drank a huge gulp of the water I had bought a few minutes ago.

"I don't think it's a good idea either," Hye Ri said, giving everyone a skeptic glance. I nodded along with her. Out of all of us, she was the only one who made logical decisions.

"I mean, we all know what happened last time," I said, laughing about the memory that came up.

"What happened?" Seong asked curiously.

"She fell asleep, and never left her house," Bora said before I could even say a word. I closed my open mouth.

"You really suck at sneaking out," Jeong said, muffling her laughter.

"Guys, I have too much homework, and I really cannot afford to..." My sentence trailed off as everyone rolled their eyes at me. Even Hye Ri snorted.

"What?" I asked exasperatedly.

"We know you don't have homework," Na Ri said as she put down her chopsticks. Young agreed, as she took her and Na Ri's plate and to put them in the disposal bin.

"I do," I said, trying, but failing to lie.

"So it's settled. We're all going to meet near the Gangnam station, and then go to Octagon together. Carry your ID's, an extra pair of shoes, and a lot of energy. We're going to have so much fun today," Bora said, with a manic streak in her eyes. She was obviously the party animal and she blatantly ignored my protests.

"Guys..." I said, still trying to not make myself go to this club.

"Jae is going to be there," Seong said simply. I shut my lips then. I know I shouldn't live and have fun based on what he is doing. But the emotions I had felt for Jae were still too fresh, and I wanted him to see me not caring about him. I don't know why...

Everyone was looking at me expectantly. I groaned and put a palm against my forehead.

"Okay, fine," I asked as everyone around me cheered happily. Young even gave me a piece of her blueberry mouse.

It was 6:30 and for the first time, my dad wasn't still stuck in his room. I pulled the dress I was wearing, to make it seem less revealing. If we had to reach Gangnam by 9, we needed to leave at 7. Firstly, because I still needed to buy the subway tickets, and walk a huge distance in these high heels: there was no way I was carrying an extra bag with sneakers. I now, however, knew what I would spend my Saturday and Sunday doing: soaking my legs in the hot water to reduce the pain I would undergo today.

"Don't pull on your dress," Na Ri and Bora screamed together. I hushed them and peaked out of the washroom on the lower level. I looked right, then left.

"Is he there?" I turned and glared at Na Ri for being incredibly impatient. I turned to face the door again and noticed my dad was in the kitchen. I monitored him for a few minutes, after which he left. I loosed a sigh and motioned Na Ri and Bora to follow me. They had gotten partially ready at home and then come to personally pick me up, knowing that I would have never gotten out if they had not.

"We have a few minutes before he comes back down for water," I said, looking at the time on my phone. I put it in the little purse I was carrying and cleared my throat.

"Dad, I am going to the library," I screamed like I usually did on Fridays.

"Be back by 10," He screamed back down.

"I don't understand how such a lame excuse would work," Bora said, scrunching her eyes and glaring disgustingly at me.

"Let's go," I pointed towards the door.
