There are a few things that you just can't do: this one was turning out to be one of them. I looked at the simple white door of Yoongi's apartment and wondered if I should ring the bell or not. What if he agreed to what my father had said earlier; should we not disclose our relationship? I rocked on the balls of my feet as I tried to raise my finger up to the silver button that was his bell. I had been so restless and undecided that I had even walked up seven flights of stairs.
"Are you here for the piano class?" I hear someone ask and startle me. I place a hand on my chest as I try to calm my breathing and look to the left. Namjoon?
"No, I am just here to see...him," I said, looking at the floor out of embarrassment. I had completely forgotten that he has his own schedule to go about, and I had simply landed outside of his apartment. Namjoon shrugged and rang the bell without further notice. I screamed out in protest a bit too late as I heard the doors begin to unlock on the other side.
"You didn't see me," I pat Namjoon on the back, give him a tight-lipped smile, and run to the edge of the floor to hide in the little crevice between the lift and the wall.
"Your girlfriend is here," Namjoon says as soon as Yoongi opens the door. I slap a palm onto my face and glare at Namjoon from the crevice. I notice Yoongi and him both looking at me with wide eyes, the latter with a dark-red blush creeping on his neck.
"I said that you did not see me," I said through gritted teeth as I walked closer. "What happened?" Yoongi asked, moving away from the door to let Namjoon in. He walks into the apartment with his head held low. I glare at the back of his neck as he sits down on the piano.
"I'll tell you later," I said, shaking my head furiously, backtracking and walking back to the elevator.
"Just tell me," He said, pulling me back by the loop on my backpack and making me stand in front of him. He stuffs his hands into his pockets and looks at me looking at the floor.
"This happened," I said, showing him the expose on my phone with shaking hands. He scans through it, scrolling with one of his fingers. He sighs, gives me back my phone, and looks at me with an intense gaze.
"Don't worry so much," He said, straightening the black cap on my head. I open my mouth to protest, to tell him it wasn't okay to defame people like this, but he begins to speak before I could even utter a word.
"Wait for me at the convenience store on the edge of my street. I'll meet you there in half an hour," He says, pulling me toward him for a hug. I happily comply, still harboring a vast amount of distaste for him, but utterly at a loss to refuse a hug. He moves away and walks back into the apartment, giving me a smile over his shoulder. I closed the door and do as he asks.

The convenience store is pretty empty when I get there, so I pick some chicken noodles, and settle down at the seats near the window to feast on some unhealthy ramen. I slurp on them noisily as I look around at the road. I guess it took me really long to finish eating ramen because when I halfway through my slurping and smacking of lips, I felt a tap on my shoulder.
I turn around, a few noodles hanging from my closed mouth. I immediately slurp them into my mouth as I look at Yoongi looking at me with disgust on his face.
"Can you not eat ramen?" He asks, handing me some tissues to clean up all the sauce and ramen water I had gotten on my face. I scrunch my nose up and clean up my mouth with one tissue, and go back to eating ramen in a civilized manner.
"I am hungry," I mutter under my breath and silently chew on the now heavy noodles: they had absorbed too much water.
He mutters something under his breath that sounded an awful lot like 'why are you so cute?' while maintaining a stoic expression. I was about to question my hearing when he began to talk.
"What you showed me earlier was wrong on a lot of grounds. And I know I may not be able to prevent such things from sprouting up, so I am going to do my best to cheer you up," He says, sitting down beside me and looking at me chewing slowly on my ramen. I paused then, again letting a few ramen noodles hang out of my mouth. He scoffed, picked up a tissue, and began to clean up the mess around my mouth. I slurped the noodles in and swatted his hand away.
"How do you plan on doing that?" I ask, drinking all of the water left at the bottom, and putting down the bowl with a satisfied sigh. I was happy finally someone saw the wrong in this situation.
"By taking you out on a date," He says shrugging. My eyes widen, and I snap my neck to meet his eyes. He looked serious. Was he serious? Was he actually serious?
"Don't joke," I said simply, getting up to throw the bowl into the trash can directly diagonal to where we were sitting. He stops me, wrapping his hand around my wrist, and pulling me toward him. I stumble to a stop as he turns in the high rise stool to face me. His knees are positioned to the side of my waist as he looks at me intently.
"Why do you always think I am joking?" He questions, tilting his head. All I could do was gulp.
"What are you doing?" I ask, getting incredibly uncomfortable in this position. I make a move to get away from his grasp, but his knees simply tighten their hold on my waist.
"Min Holly is waiting outside in the cold, and she would appreciate that you did not act coy right now," He smirks, and lets go off my wrist, but still not moving his knees away. He loosens his grip, but slides a hand to the small of my back and pulls me closer, just a bit.
He leans down and plants a soft kiss onto my lips. I wanted to move away because I wanted my first kiss with him to be when my breath did not smell like chicken noodles and the dingy interior of the convenience store did not surround us, but the moment his lips touched mine, everything around me blurred into the background.
I wasn't in a convenience store anymore.
"I thought you deserved a kiss you'd remember," He said as he moved away. I bit my lip from preventing a smile to spread across my face.
"And I also really like ramen, so it really wasn't a problem," He said, hopping off the stool, and finally letting me move away. I managed to walk to the dustbin, throw the bowl, and not fall onto my knees, but internally I was running around in manic circles with my hands raised to the sky in some kind of fanatic ritual to find my sanity.
Something about what he said bothered me.
"You remembered the kiss?" I asked tilting my head as he paused from turning the corner to move to the next aisle.
"Faintly. I mean, I didn't think it was real. I just thought I was dreaming about it," He said straightforwardly. Oh. I felt a odd stone lift itself from the pits of my stomach. Suddenly, I felt very light.
"So, where are we going on this date?" I asked, moving away from the dustbin and toward him.
"You'll see," He says, his hands in his pocket, his elbow outstretched for me to grab, and a smirk gracing his lips. I snaked my arm around his elbow and let myself forget about the hundred different things that bothered me.
[A/N: I am sorry this chapter took so long to be published. I just had no idea how to continue writing. I feel like a lot more things are in store, and not just for Eun In and Yoongi's plotline, but other characters as well. I hope you're enjoying the book up to now! I CANNOT BELIEVE WE HAVE REACH OVER 600 READS. WHAT? That's awesome! And I don't want to sound like a groveller and a greedy person, but it would mean everything if you guys voted and commented. It's always great to hear back from you guys! Anyway, good night/morning/evening/afternoon, and I hope you have an awesome day! Fighting!]
