The coffee had grown colde amidst our conversation. When at first, the surface had been rippling with wisps of steam, it now sat still, like a lake, or a pond. I tried to remember what had happened the last time I had visited this cafe with my friends. We had had a big fight about the person sitting in front of me.
"You've already got 10,000 views," I inform him as I scroll through YouTube. He scoffed and simply took my phone out of my hand. I protested, but he put it down, locking it.
"I don't want to know," He said, briefly looking at it, and then back at me. I nod, understanding, and begin speaking again, "Holly is really well behaved," I tell him. He nods this time. During the one week that she had stayed at my house, she had rarely ever made a ruckus and always ate what was given to her. Compared to her, Dubu was a complete troublemaker. Even he, during the one week, had begun to implement what she was doing just to get in her good books.
"I'm really glad she likes you," He says, extending his hand toward mine, and intertwining our fingers. My breath hitched as his cold hands grasped onto mine.
"So, are you going back to Daegu?" I ask him from beneath my eyelashes. He turns his head to face mine, a smile lingering on his lips.
"Not until next week," He says. I try to hide my happiness that I would be getting to spend one entire week with him. But then I remembered he was staying back so he could finish filming for his music video which would be taking up all his time. All of that happiness deflated.
I was about to say something when I heard something crash on the other side of the cafe. I turned around to face the commotion and much to my surprise found Lee standing next to a bunch of broken glass. She had a shocked expression on her face and a guy was snickering at her behind her back. As if she knew I was there, she turned to face me.
I got up to go help her but by the time I reached her, she had picked up the big pieces and the boy was sweeping up the rest. He murmured something that she could hear but I couldn't and she turned red in the face.
"Lee?" I asked unsure of whether I should approach her further.
She bowed deep down, and then I noticed the black apron and cap. Did she work here? I didn't know.
"Do you work here?" I ask.
"Uh...yes." She said hesitatingly. She looked around, probably trying to find an escape from this conversation.
"I should let you get back to it," I tell her to spare her from the awkwardness. She thanked me and gave me a tight-lipped smile.
I wondered as to why it bothered her that she worked here: it was okay.
I would ask her about it later.

"He knew who you were," I teased him as we left the cafe hand in hand. He rolled his eyes and said, "No he didn't."
But he very much did.
The guy behind the counter had looked at him wide-eyed, and mumbled something that sounded like 'Can I click a picture with you?'. Yoongi had done that and even given him an autograph.
"Your first fan," I said, shaking his hand to make him see and feel my excitement. He bit down on his lower lip, to stop from smiling, but the blush still spread on his cheeks. He pulled me closer as a cold wind blew past us. I was thankful I had bundled up before leaving the house.
"It's cold," he said as we neared the subway station. He was going to drop me here and then head toward his home. We had ended up at this cafe because I had accompanied him when he left my house. We had dropped Holly at his apartment and then decided to drink some coffee.
