The Dragon Masters Struggle

{Chapter 10.}

Lucy's /POV/ 

I started to run through the woods, quickly running before the group of dragons and their masters could come down off the cliff to look for their body. "Thanks, Aries!" I said as I left my landing spot. I had summoned her just before I hit the ground, and she created a woollen landing for me. 

Even when night fell I didn't stop, at some point, I had started crying as the feeling of turning my back on Natsu felt like it was tearing me apart from the inside. Once the sun had started to rise I finally allowed myself rest, as I fell to my knees puffing. I sat down and leant against a tree, when I got a sharp pain in my head, causing me to close my eyes.

"Luce! You're ok." The figure with salmon hair said from the other side of the fire. I smiled.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Don't worry about me. Natsu, go home, go live your life. Just forget me." My voice was strained as I said this, and I probably looked as exhausted as I sounded. 

"Never. I will find you Luce, but next time, I won't make the mistake of letting go." I tried to smile at him, but it failed and soon dropped to a frown, tears came to my eyes.

"Please don't make this harder for me. It hurts..." Natsu's face showed pure concern.

"What hurts Luce? Tell me what hurts and I'll fix it-"

"SEEING YOU!!!" His face showed pure sadness and depression. "Seeing you hurts because I never want to leave you, but I have too. Being away from you, having to walk away." I was full on crying now. But his face now showed a mixture of shock and relief. 

"You...don't want to leave me?"

"OF COURSE NOT!! You dense idiot! You make me feel safe, secure cared for! Why would I want to leave the only person who seems to give a damn about me?" I couldn't look him in the eye anymore. "Well, in a good way, obviously the dark temple's want me.." I chuckled bitterly once more.

"Luce-" Natsu was cut off by my scream as I was forced to open my eyes. Someone had grabbed me, and put a hand over my mouth, injecting my neck with some strange orange liquid, using a needle. I bearly saw  Lord Jose's face before everything went black.

Natsu's /POV/

"LUCE!!!!" I yelled out as she disappeared. I then opened my eyes and saw the guild looking at me. My eyes were aflame with rage as I stood up. Mira and Laxus had convinced Levy and me to head back to the guild to look for information after we searched for her body of course. 

"Natsu what happened!" Levy asked as she ran over to me, I was enraged so Gajeel and Laxus tried to hold me back, but my rage and fear for my master made me stronger as I used my demon power to overpower my to captures, throwing them into a wall, causing the whole guild to gasp at my power. "NATSU PLEASE!!! What happened!?? She's ok right!"  Levy had tears collecting in her eyes wich is the only reason I stopped my rampaged escape for the door.

"I don't know. We were talking, and then she" my voice cracked as I recalled it "she was in pain! She screamed and was forced out of the telepathy room!" I punched the wall next to me, causing a large dent and crack. 

"Don't worry Natsu, we'll find her! She's smart, and deadly when mad." Levy chuckled wistfully as if re-seeing an old memory. I chuckled a little too, although it sounded almost lifeless coming from me. "I'm going to go to the Magnolia library and see if I can find any information about dark guilds." She was trying to sound cheerful but anyone who knew her knew it was fake.

"I'll come to shrimp." Gajeel started to walk towards her.

"NO!" She quickly snapped. Levy was upset at the fact her best friend was quite possibly in danger, she no doubts needed time alone. "Ahem, I mean no. It's fine. I'll be safe, and I'll call you if I need!" And with that Levy sprinted off without another word. 

We should never have let her go, because that night, she never came back.

It's been three weeks and Gajeel and I are in a rage! Neither of us is happy right now as both our Masters have been kidnapped! With no clue as to where they are, or what exactly happened to them, the whole guild is stumped as to how to get them back!

"UGGGGG!!!!! I CAT STAND THIS!!!!" I stood up and slammed my hand down on the table.

"Flame brain, that's the 24 time you've done that!"

"SO WHAT!!! It's not that much Ice Stripper!"

"TODAY!! Let me finish ash face!"

"Ice queen!"

"Pyro!"

"Stripper Queen!"

"Ash for bra-" Gray got hit to the ground by Erza, but she didn't dare come try to do the same to me. Rightfully so, with me in this state, I could quite possibly kill her if angered anymore.

"We're never going to find anything if you two keep fi-" Now it was her turn to be interrupted as a lacrima appeared in the middle of the guild hall and displayed a screen.

"LUCY!"

"LEVY!" 

...how could this have happened?
