A/N: it'll be a good read if you guys play the music that's up there in the background (:The next night, all was quiet in Olympus as gods and goddesses slept, all except one. Namjoon was sitting on the balcony of his palace, throwing lightning bolts into the sky and causing thunder and rain for the Mortals on earth. Little did he know, a goddess was sitting straight up in her bed, her little moon floating above her as she hugged her knees to her chest.
Aria was afraid of thunder and lightning, which was ironic seeing as she fancied Zeus' son, the one who made thunder and lightning himself. Thunder sounded again in the distance, causing Aria to whimper and hide underneath her blanket.
"Out of all the nights, it had to be tonight," Aria whined. As thunder sounded again, Aria got up from her bed and put on a pink sweatshirt. She ran out of her room and out of her palace, heading straight for the golden doors of his palace in the distance.
Her hands found themselves banging on the golden doors, demanding them to be opened. When they finally did, she was half expecting to see his surprised face, but instead she was met with a sleepy Zeus.
"Daughter of Artemis, do you know what time it is?" Zeus asked her sleepily.
Aria shifted side to side, "um. Late."
"Is there anything you needed?"
"Um I was wondering if I could speak to Namjoon," Aria mumbled. Her sentence seemed to wake Zeus up as he smiled and urged her to come in.
"Oh of course! He's in his room, probably the balcony," Zeus said, leading her the way to Namjoon's room, "you know where it is right?"
Aria nodded and thanked Zeus, making her way towards Namjoon's room. She took a deep breath as she knocked on the door, surprised there wasn't an answer. She wrapped her hand around the doorknob and found that his room was unlocked. She opened the door and made her way inside quietly. It wasn't the first time that she's been in his room, she's been in there plenty of times with all their friends, but it is her first time going in alone.
The only light in his room was the lampshade on top of his nightstand beside his bed and the door leading out to his balcony was open. She took the time to walk to the balcony until thunder rumbled again, causing her to run out to the balcony and hug him from behind. Surprised, Namjoon accidentally dropped the lightning bolt in his hand over the balcony. He turned around to find that it was Aria.
"Aria?" Namjoon asked the terrified girl clutching on to him for dear life, "what are you doing here? What's wrong?"
"Thunder and lightning," Aria mumbled.
Namjoon's eyes grew wide as he realized her fear, "oh my goodness I'm so sorry, I completely forgot."
Aria shook her head, still not letting go of him, "n-no it's okay. I just came here to ask you if you can turn it down a little bit maybe? If you can."
"I mean, I can just stop if you want me to," Namjoon told her, patting her head slightly.
She nodded her head, "that'll be nice. I'm sorry for making you stop, I just couldn't take it anymore."
Namjoon chuckled, not bothering to remind her that she's still clutching on to him, "no, it's okay. I was just bored and I couldn't sleep, that's why I was doing it."
Aria finally pulled away from him, looking over the balcony at the dark clouds, "you were bored so you decided to make thunderstorms and lightning on earth?"
