Gracie walked into the parthenon, greeting her mom who was in the kitchen as she grabbed an apple on her way to her room.
"Your friends are in your library, dear," Athena told her daughter. Gracie nodded and gave her a thumbs up, making her way to her library. As she opened the heavy wooden doors, she was greeted by Anjelyn and Aria who was looking through one of her astronomy books.
"Any reason why you guys are invading my library?" Gracie asked them, taking a bite out of her apple. Aria merely shrugged, finally settling on a book about the moon.
"Bored," Anjelyn said, "why do you still go to the Olympus library if you already have thousands of books here at home?"
Gracie smiled as she leaned on a bookshelf, "one can never have too many books. Plus, I don't have everything."
Gracie's library doors opened and hit the wall with a bang as Marina Astrid came rushing in, "I need help."
"What's wrong?" the three goddesses asked the younger one.
Marina took a deep breath in before proceeding to speak, "The Son of Hermes, has lost his mind."
The goddesses looked at their friend in amusement, knowing all too well how Marina and Jungkook feel about one another no matter how many times Marina tries to deny it by acting cold towards him.
"What did he do? Compliment you?" Gracie chuckled.
Aria laughed, "losing minds run in all our families. Our parents are practically children."
Marina shook her head, "even worse, he asked me out on a date!"
Gracie, Aria, and Anjelyn all immediately dropped what they were doing and rushed towards Marina, bombarding her with questions about the young god. Asking her about where their date would be held and at what time. Their questions only solidifying the fact that Marina is actually going on a date tomorrow night with the son of Hermes.
----
Marina went home to her palace not knowing much of anything going on around her. Not even noticing her father welcoming her home as she walked past him in a daze.
"Marina," her father called after her, grabbing her attention. She turned, startled by the sudden greeting.
"F-father, hi," She stuttered, bowing slightly.
Ares approached her, with a concerned look on his face. He put his hands on his daughter's shoulders, "what's wrong? Is something bothering you?"
Marina shook her head, "no, something's just on my mind, nothing too big of a deal though, don't worry."
Her father nodded, letting her go. Marina turned away and hurried to her room, locking the door behind her and leaning against it. She released the breath she didn't even know she was holding. She plopped down on her bed and stared up at the ceiling, what am I supposed to do? she thought to herself. With a defeated sigh, she buried herself in her covers, wishing for sleep to come so her rapidly beating heart can calm down.
----
Jungkook woke up the next day with the biggest smile on his face. He couldn't wait to pick Marina up for their date tonight. He was going to make sure it was the best night she can ever have. Everything was already ready, and it was going to be romantic. Jimin even said it was, and he should know, he's the son of Eros. He was confident, Marina would like him back after tonight is over.
He went outside to enjoy the day and he saw her there, walking around with Gracie. It seemed like they're on their way to the Colosseum to train. Their eyes connected and Jungkook flashed her a smile, Marina blushed and looked away, grabbing Gracie by the arm and urging her to walk faster much to Gracie's confusion. Jungkook laughed to himself, shaking his head as he walked towards Zeus' palace where his friends were.
