Emergency!!

I woke up the next morning and got ready. I was taking mom to her appointment today. We were nervous as hell. We were waiting looking at baby names until we heard moms name get called.

We went in and she talked to the doctor about what ever while I read names out of the Greek baby book. She was getting an ultrasound when I found two cute names. Kayabrie Katasha, and Kingsley Kyron. Hopefully mom likes them. 

"Did you find anything?" Mom asked me. I nodded. "Oooo, tell me" she said. "Kayabrie Katasha for a girl" I said. "Oh my god! That's it! I love it!" She said. "Now for a boy?" She asked. "Kingsley Kyron" I said. "Oh, I love it" she said. I smiled.

"And you having a girl!" The nurse said. She looked at the screen again. "Hold on.." She said. She looked closer. "Oh my god!" She said. She ran out of the room before anything else was said or done.

She came back seconds later with a doctor. He looked closely at the monitor. His eyes widened. "How far along are you ma'am?" He asked. Mom shrugged.

"Seven months" the nurse said. "Holy shit, seven?!" Mom and I asked in unison. "Get her in now!" He said. "Wait, you are not to touch me until you explain what the hell is going on" mom said.

"Okay, so your babies are wrapped in the umbilical cord, and if you don't deliver now, you will loose them" he said. "Hold up, babies?!" Mom asked. "Yes, a little girl and little boy" he said. "Seven kids, on my own" mom said quiet.

"It's okay, I will watch both. Don't worry. Now get in there and deliver them babies while I get everyone. I love you" I said. "Okay, I love you too" she said then they wheeled her away. I went downstairs and outside my fastest.

I quickly dialed Kaska since he always answers. "Hello?" He asked. "Umm, so big news and it's kinda rushing at the same time!" I said. "Okay, go ahead" he said. "Mom is having twin babies right now" I said. "How far is she?" He asked. "Seven months" I said.

"But you need to be nine months to have a baby" he said. "The umbilical cord is wrapped around them and they will die if she doesn't deliver now" I said. "Okay, were leaving right now. Bye." Then he hang up.

I got into the car and drove to the nearest Babies R Us. I went in and got two baby car seat, paid and drove to the hospital. I got to the door right as Kaska, Kal Kayla, Kasin and grandma got there.

We all went in. "Hi, how may I help you?" The desk clerk asked. "Our mother just went into emergency labor" we said. "Okay, go up to floor five to labor and delivery and ask the desk clerk there" she said. We nodded and went to the elevator.

We went right to the clerk as soon as we got in the floor. She gave us a room number and we went to the room. Mom was in a sit up position with a hospital blanket draped over her stomach and legs.

Grandma rushed to her side. "Mom, seven kids" mom said to grandma. Grandma kissed her forehead "I know sweetie, it's okay" grandma said in a hush tone. The doctor came in.

"Okay Kristen, you ready to have some babies?" The doctor asked. Mom nodded. He sat on the chair with wheels and told my mom to push. My mom pushed. She was holding Kasin, the strongest of my brothers hands.

You could tell it hurt him because she was squeezing so hard. It takes a lot for them to get hurt. All of a sudden I heard a cry snapping me out of my trance. I saw a nurse wrap the baby in a red towel.

She took him out of the room and I heard another cry. The other nurse wrapped the baby in a towel just like the other and then took the baby out of the room. Then they wheeled my mom out of the room.

I'm not sure what they are doing, but I think she is getting her tubes tied. That means she can't have any more babies. We all waited until mom came back in holding the twins. "What are their names?" The nurse asked.
