I woke up and got King ready. I got myself ready and went downstairs. I am staying home today, because I can't go today. No way. I refuse to show my face. This is the first time since first grade I have stayed home.

I got some coffee, wrapped King in a warm blanket and went out back. I sat in a lawn chair and pulled King closer to me. I gently rocked back and forth. Before I knew it, it was 8:00. My phone started to blow up.

I turned my phone off and rocked back and forth with King. My grandma came out with her fresh pot of coffee, her cup and two coasters. I took a sip of my coffee and looked at the sky. She sat next to me and placed her hand on my knee.

"Sweetheart, I am so sorry" she said. A few tears fell. Nobody but me was that heartbroken. My mom was always at work or at the bar now. She was never home. I just hope that she doesn't get untied and bring home more babies.

"Why don't you go to school today?" She asked. I shook my head. "Just today, then you can stay home for two days" she said. Well it is Friday, so I o my have today, then I have a weekend to regroup.

"Okay, I will go" I said. She gave me a warm smile. I got up and got ready then went to school. I dropped King off and went to class. It was my first calculus class. I made just in time. Nobody was in the room yet, so I sat in the way back.

The only two people I know in my calculus classes are Tori and Kaeley. They became best friends, but that's fine. I mean Kaeley and I have only been best friends for 10 years!

I just lowered my head until class was over. I did the same for my second calculus class. Next was choir and all of Josh's friends were in that class. I stood on the soprano side as the risers filled up with kids.

Some were Altos, some sopranos, and some were bass. Someone tapped on my shoulder. I looked over to see Kasin, Kaska, and Kal standing there.

The all hugged me with out words. "We were just about to call you" Kal said. "What for?" I asked. "Well, we excused you from this class" Kasin said.

"Why?" I asked. "Because we are in auto mechanics and we need you're help" Kasin said. I nodded. "Okay.." I said. We walked down to the school garage and went in. There was no girls in here.

There was only like 15 boys. They all looked at me and laughed. "What is she going to do twirl?" One asked while laughed.

"Yeah, is she going to cheer for us?" Another asked. "Just shut up!" Kal yelled. "Why, she is nothing but a girl" one said. Kaska was about to explode.
